Delivery & Installation Lead

The D & I Lead's primary responsibility will be to ensure that deliveries and installations are completed accurately, efficiently, and professionally. The D & I Lead will be the expert on plant installation techniques and will effectively problem solve site issues as they arise on job sites. S/He will primarily work in the field ensuring a productive and safe environment for all D & I Associates. Our ideal candidate will have 3+ yrs of landscaping experience including installation of plants and analyzing of landscape designs (formal horticultural degree preferred); 2 yrs experience supervising a team, individual or tasks; knowledge and experience working with, in, on and around heavy equipment including forklifts, skid steers, large trucks and trailers; and excellent customer service and problem solving skills.

Hard Goods Sales Supervisor

The primary responsibility of the Hard Goods Sales Supervisor (HGSS) is to ensure an exceptional and unique experience for our customers with quality service, merchandising and ambiance. Additionally, the HGSS serves as the Lead Merchandiser, and is responsible for creating hard goods displays and departmental themes inside the store that are attractive, creative, inspire our customers and convert them from browsers to purchasers. The HGSS will increase sales by maintaining a deep knowledge of the retail hard goods products, developing sales strategies, and ensuring that sales teams are fully trained and executing these strategies to meet sales goals. Our ideal candidate will have an Associate's Degree in retail business management, sales, or merchandising (or equivalent life experience); strong merchandising skills; 5 yr min of proven successful management; and excellent sales and customer service skills.

Hard Goods Sales Associate

The HG Sales Associate will be responsible for ensuring all customers receive the best service possible. S/He will have in-depth knowledge of the hard goods products that we sell and will match customers with appropriate products to best serve their needs. Our ideal candidate will have 3-5 years retail or direct sales experience; intermediate gardening/ horticultural knowledge and a passion for gardening; and excellent customer service skills, including: positive attitude; ability, patience and enthusiasm to research solutions to help solve customer problems or answer questions.

Hard Goods Restocking Specialist (24hrs/week)

The Hard Goods Restocking Specialist will be responsible for the timely and accurate restocking of shelves and displays throughout the retail and commercial hard goods sales areas. S/He will ensure that products are easily accessible, neatly arranged and visually appealing. Our ideal candidate will have 2 yrs restocking/fulfillment experience; high levels of both efficiency and engagement while performing repetitive tasks; and basic knowledge of gardening products.

Outlet Sales Specialist (24hrs/week)

The Outlet Sales Specialist (OSS) will ensure all customers are engaged and receive the best service possible by assisting them in finding products that meet their needs. The OSS is responsible for receiving/restocking the Outlet inventory, its appearance, merchandizing, pricing, ordering, signage, and assisting in the organization of outlet sales events. Our ideal candidate will have 2-3 yrs direct sales experience; excellent customer service skills, including: positive attitude; ability, patience and enthusiasm to research solutions to help solve customer problems or answer questions; and strong organizational skill and attention to detail.

Inventory & Quality Control Supervisor

The primary goal of the Inventory & Quality Control (QC) Supervisor is to ensure that goods are moved from truck to selling space as fast and as accurately as possible. This Supervisor oversees the Hard Goods Receiving, Green Goods Receiving, and Irrigation/Plant Health teams and works closely with the Store Manager and Buying Team to ensure a steady supply of goods is received, priced, restocked, inspected and maintained. Our ideal candidate will have a degree in retail business management/inventory management/or related field (or equivalent life experience); strong merchandising skills; 5 yrs direct inventory management experience; and 5 yr min of proven successful management.

Irrigation and Plant Health Specialist (24hrs/week)

The primary responsibility of the Irrigation and Plant Health Specialist is to maintain optimal health of green goods through the appropriate application of water, fertilizer and organic pest controls. S/He will establish and utilize integrated pest management strategies to develop systems/protocols that result in disease and insect pests below economic thresholds. S/He will need to acquire and maintain a pesticide applicators license. Our ideal candidate will have advanced horticultural knowledge (a min of 2 yrs experience in horticultural industry, formal horticultural degree preferred); experience with identifying pests and diseases as well as treatment methods of ornamental crops; experience with pesticide use and biological controls, specifically regarding modes of action and techniques of application; and strong problem-solving skills.

Green Goods Receiving Specialist

The GG Receiving Specialist will lead the receiving process on a day-to-day basis including all green goods shipments. S/he will be responsible for timely and accurate receiving of all applicable inbound and outbound freight. This person will unload trucks, prepare paperwork, sort plants, pull special orders, place plants under irrigation in the holding areas until restocking. The GG Receiving Specialist will be responsible for receiving, unpacking, processing, organizing, storing, and labeling merchandise. And S/he will ensure an accurate on-hand inventory in the operating system. Our ideal candidate will have 2 yrs inventory related experience required; advanced knowledge of horticulture preferred, including the identification of plant names, pests and diseases; basic knowledge of gardening products; POS and inventory management system experience; and strong organization, multi-tasking, communication, and attention to detail skills.

Lebanon, New Hampshire Garden Center

Delivery Driver

Must have a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and clean driving record, as well as excellent customer service and organizational skills. Experience with landscape design, familiarity with heavy equipment, and knowledge of trees/shrubs a plus!
