Georgia, Vermont, Manufacturing Facility

Production Worker

We're searching for a full-time Production Worker to join our growing team at our SERAC manufacturing facility located in Georgia, Vermont. This person will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality garden-related products. You will perform all set-up functions and will be expected to continuously monitor quality while striving for improvement and more cost-effective ways to operate. Our ideal candidate will have physical stamina (able to lift 75 lbs); previous manufacturing experience and/or construction background; and be a detail-oriented, self-starting team player.

Williston, Vermont, Garden Center

Training Specialist

You will deploy all training curriculum developed by the Training Manager and will participate in the training of staff during new store acquisitions. You will also implement human resources software to track seasonal employee applicants from the initial recruiting to on-boarding, training, certifications, and exit interviews. Our ideal candidate will have 3-5 years direct training/HR experience; strong working knowledge of MS Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel; POS/cash register experience; and exceptional communication skills.

Administrative Assistant

You will provide exceptional service by managing inbound phone calls and e-mail. You will also manage employee schedules, supply ordering, system reporting, and invoice processing. You will assist and coordinate with multiple departments including HR and Marketing. Our ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of MS Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel, as well as excellent customer service, communication, team building, and listening skills.

Hadley, Massachusetts, Garden Center

We are proud to announce this new addition to our Garden Center lineup, and are seeking to fill the following positions:

Store Manager

The Hadley Store Manager (SM) has responsibility for all operations at our Hadley facility. As the Massachusetts ambassador for the Gardener's Supply brand, the store serves as both a site for retail and wholesale commerce as well as the face of the company in the Hadley community. The SM will ensure a dynamic and unique experience for our customers with exceptional service, merchandising, and ambiance. As part of the leadership team for the retail division, the SM will participate in strategic planning sessions and assist the Retail General Manager in setting the strategic direction for the retail division. Our ideal candidate will have a demonstrated record of success leading a multi-departmental or multi-unit retail organization of similar scale/volum, a minimum of 5 years experience in leadership/management, and 4 years direct customer service experience. This person will have a proven record of creating and managing budgets and achieving financial goals, and will have excellent communication skills. Garden Center/Nursery experience strongly preferred and ability to stay organized, focused, and calm in a busy and dynamic environment is a must!

Training Specialist

Receiving Specialist

You will be responsible for the efficient and accurate flow of inbound product from arrival of delivery truck through to the sales floor. Effective organization and efficiency of the stockroom, seasonal task prioritization as well as leading seasonal inventory associates in the receiving process are also key responsibilities. Our ideal candidate will have 2+ yrs inventory related experience; POS and inventory management system experience; advanced gardening/hort knowledge; and excellent MS Excel skills.
