Grow plants at an easy working height in this unique VegTrug garden. The compact size is ideal for smaller spaces, and the elevated bed means no weeds and fewer pests, too. The V-shape makes efficient use of space and planting mix — grow deep-rooted plants like tomatoes in the center, shallow-rooted crops like salad greens along the edges. Includes a fitted fabric liner to keep soil contained while letting excess water drain. Plastic feet protect wood from wet surfaces. Quality construction and easy assembly.

Comments about : Compact VegTrug™ Patio Garden, Charcoal:
This is a perfect size and height for use in our garden at an Assisted Living facility. The residents love being able to get up close to it either in their w/c or from a regular chair or walker.

So convenient and perfect for a kitchen herb garden
from Pahrump, NV
We bought this because we wanted a small, waist-high garden where we could grow lots of herbs as we enjoy cooking. This veg trug is compact and sits easily on our deck just outside the sliding doors from the kitchen. It was simple to assemble and looks beautiful, and we're very happy with it.

I want more. I love my raised garden. I don't have to worry about dogs getting into my garden.
Functional yet stylish--this is fifth VegTrug we own.
Love this VegTrug

Love this VegTrug. Easy to use and even easy to move. I have mine on a southern exposure deck and was able to grow a lot of different vegetables - even carrots! I will be purchasing a second one for next year's gardening adventure.
Such a great idea and beautiful too!
from Vallejo, CA
I love these. I got 2 compact VegTrugs for my birthday and they are the perfect size--just the right height and I can easily reach across to get to each corner. No more aching back or knees from gardening. They are beautiful and look great with the initial plantings. I can't wait to see the plants in a month's time. Seemed a little pricey so have been on my wish list for awhile but they are probably well worth it. I am going to order 2 more for my front porch at the end of the season. Great Product!
Great for the price

This compact veg-trug is great. I've been wanting to build something like it for years and for the price it made sense to buy this one verses building one. Good height, plenty of space for lots of herbs and lettuce, exactly what I wanted. I will need to find a food safe black stain however, as the stain that came on it is very thin in areas. I want to have this for years to come so I want to protect the wood as much as I can from outside conditions. Happy with my purchase overall.

great for the elderly
from Chadds Ford, Pa
I bought this as a gift for my elderly mother and she absolutely loves it! She had to give up gardening in the last few years because of her health, so now she is excited to be able to grow vegetables again.

Love my new VegTrug! I have been battling rabbits and other critters in my traditional vegetable gardens. This is the answer. Not to mention that it is so easy to access my plants at the elevated hight.
Love/ hate relationship but I'm loyal
from Rhinebeck, NY
I have three vegtrugs, two medium and one small. While they are simple to assemble in theory, the terribly soft wood is especially difficult to work, causing splitting. The holes consistently don't line but I'm usually in a time crunch and march forward rather than waiting for a replacement part. And I'll accept the possibility of human error, all three of mine ended up coming together with slightly different alignment. That being said, once in the garden and filled with soil, they really are beautiful, solid and a convenient height so I keep buying them! I can't find anything else on the market that I like more. The deep center is fantastic.FYI, the small trug took 9 cu ft of compost/container mix and the medium took 14 cu ft.
