Grow vegetables the way the professionals growers do, in beds protected with black plastic mulch. It suppresses weed growth, conserves moisture and warms the soil — especially helpful for heat-lovers like melons and peppers. Foliage and fruits don't come into contact with soil, which minimizes problems with soil-borne diseases. Also conserves water by retaining soil moisture. You can also install a soaker hose underneath for easy watering. Plastic sheet is 25' L x 4' W with perforated, 3" planting holes -— pop out only the holes you need. Holes are spaced about 8" apart, with approximately 120 planting holes in all.

Comments about : Easy-Plant Weed Block Mulch:
This product, so far has worked in my Gardeners Supply raised beds. However, I plant most of my winter crop from seed (live in Florida). The holes are way too far apart for winter root veggies. I ended up cutting my own holes and strips. Wish it came in a variety of spacing choices.I will try this for summer veggies that are not from seed.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Organizer & Weed Block Mulch
from East Tennessee
Since I ordered this product at the end of my gardening season I haven't used the mulch but the reasons I ordered this product was to easily block weed growth and to easily arrange the placement of spring plantings in my raised garden beds. The hole placement looks great and I feel this will solve multiple issues at one time. Let you know more details in the spring once I've installed this in my beds.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

After wrestling with regular black plastic sheets, , this was such a relief. I love gardening but some parts are harder than others. This works great for preventing weeds, spacing for even planting, and is a perfect size. I am sticking up!

I buy this product every year.

Love using this in my garden for peppers, cabbage, and other plants. It keeps the weeds down and allows easy watering. It is a bit of a hassle getting the plants in the ground with the small holes, but worth the effort.
I will order this again next yr

Excellent for Weed Control and Plant Growth
By Maggs Mom
from Arlington, WA
This plastic mulch is terrific! It lasts for several years, is easy to install, is effective in weed control, and helps hold moisture and promote a warmer environment for plant growth. We have a short growing season where we live and yet, every row in our garden covered by the plastic mulch grew at least three times better than the rows that didn't have it. And there was virtually no weeding needed. Yeah!!!! My husband was skeptical when I bought the plastic mulch. He said it looked silly. So, I told him he could take care of the rows that didn't have the mulch for his stuff (corn, squash, etc.) and I would take care of the rows that had the mulch. Well, halfway through the season, and much weed pulling and eventually plant overgrowing by weeds in his rows, he said, "That plastic stuff really does work." So this year we are using it on almost all of the rows. We installed it with the Earth Stakes and we are good to go!
