Grow bushels of beans with our tallest, strongest and sturdiest bean trellis tower yet. The secret is thicker supports coupled with 10" legs that hold the structure securely in the ground. The Bean Tower in our test garden yielded 2,400 beans between mid-July and late September — in just 1-1/2 square feet! Supports are 5 mm thick with 3.5 mm crosspieces. Openings are 7-1/2" square to allow easy harvesting. In windy locations, we recommend anchoring with our Extra-Tall Earth Staples, sold separately.

Sturdy space-saving tool

Comments about : Bean Tower:
Ordered and received this after the ground was already frozen, so I haven't used them yet. But if they're anything like the tomato cages, they're sturdy and re-useable, and I plan to use them to change over from bush beans to pole beans. If they work as intended, I will be able to grow a similar volume of beans in a much smaller space (and plant other vegetables in the saved space), and will be able to avoid most of the stooping necessary to pick bush beans.

I love my bean towers, more sturdy than others I have purchased in the past.
By Steph The Gardner
I have ordered these cages in the past and loved them. The ones I ordered this year have had a design change which is flawed. The new cages have plastic fittings instead of metal fittings that accept the top-half of the tower. When taking down the my cages this week, I noticed that all the plastic fittings have split up the sides, making the cages unstable and completely useless once this happens. The product description states that the cages are 100% powder coated steel. The old cages were but the new ones ARE NOT because of the fitting design change. I looked for replacement plastic fittings to replace my cracked ones but had no luck finding any. I am very very disappointed with these new cages. Please Please Please revert back to the metal fittings and/or sell replacement plastic fittings.

Have 4 - definitely recommend!

We bought 2 of these previously to use this summer for pole beans, and they worked so well that I got 2 more! So next year we will have 4 of them set up in our garden with Kentucky Wonder pole beans planted around them. They worked great this year, and it was very easy to pick the beans off of them - easy to see the bean pods! I planted 4 seeds on each side, and I think that was too few. Next year I'm going to plant about 6 to 8 bean seeds on each side so the trellis will be really covered well.
I bought a second one!

This spring I bought a bean tower and I am so glad that I did. It is sturdy and the red color really livens up my little garden. There was easy access to my bean crop and I think this helped my pants produce right into September. I bought a second one so that I can double my yield next year!
Looking forward to 2018 growing season
I purchased 2 towers late in our New England gardening season to test this year. My plan is to grow pole beans in half whiskey barrels that flank our front door.
I plan to buy more
