Our staff gardeners love these compact snips. The ergonomic, non-slip grip and narrow, super-sharp blades let you make precision cuts without damaging nearby stems. Perfect for harvesting herbs, flowers, fruits and vegetables, as well as light pruning and deadheading. A sliding lock lets you stow them safely.

Comments about : Pocket Snips:
My hands are smallish and I love these. Keep them in my fall/winter jacket to prune when I see the need. Especially the honeysuckle, which I can see so much better now. Bought the orange in case I drop. Bought an extra pair for my garden buddy down the road. She loves them, too.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Bought this as a gift. Nice quality, fits well into your hand and my recipient was impressed. Item very good for cutting flowers, herbs and light things like that.
The perfect all purpose tool

Couldn't have been more please with this small pocket snip - it's the first thing I grab when I head out to the garden.

These are OK pocket snips. They have remained sharp after a couple of months of use, which is good. They are somewhat poorly made, however. The lock kept moving and blocking my ability to prune, and they overall have a cheap feel to them.

I use these all summer and fall. Easy to open and lock closed with one hand. Still sharp after two years of outdoor gardening use. I'm buying one for my sister's stocking!
from Richmond, Va
I bought these for their small size to fit in my back pocket & to get into tight spaces when pruning small stems. They are really small, too small to get any leverage on anything but the smallest flower stem. They aren't very sharp. And the plastic closure broke almost immediately. More like a toy than a tool. Useless.

I haven't used it much since the pocket snips arrived. It feels like it will work well for the long run.
