It's an insecticide, a fungicide, and a miticide — and it's all-organic! Made from the oil of the neem seed, Rose Rx wards off virtually every known pest, from spider mites, whiteflies, Lily beetles and Japanese beetles to black spot and powdery mildew. It works for all flowers and ornamentals, and is safe for houseplants and food crops too.

About Me Do-It-Yourself
I had an infestation on my weeping willow and this took care of the problem.
Does not seem to work for insect control
from Dayton, OH
Rose Rx was highly recommended by a reputable local garden center & by a friend who is a master gardener. However, the first year I tried it, my rose bushes were decimated by saw flies. The leaves were eaten to the point that they looked like a very open piece of lace. This year, Japanese beetles are bad. When I need insect control, I pull out the Sevin. Gets the job done. I can't speak to Rose Rx on fungal control because I have not had that problem. Maybe it prevented it.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Too soon to tell...
from New York
I deliberately purchased this spray to control the spread of black leaf on my roses. It seems to have contained it on the newer, uninfected plants, but has not been effective on the already infected roses, where the disease continues to spread notwithstanding diligent efforts to manually remove the affected leaves.

Got rid of bad fungus infestation on my roses. Also works against insect problems, but it's safe for organic gardening. I do not like to use toxic products in my yard.
Not what I thought.

Stops insects and powdery mildew
When I bought my roses, they had been over watered at the garden shop. Couldn't find anything at the local garden shops to combat powdery mildew. Because this is the desert, they seem to not carry these types of products. I had used this product when in Oregon which is a much wetter climate and it worked to eliminate the mildew and black spot. My roses are beginning to flourish now.

This product works best as a preventative to fungal problems and pests. However, I used this product to help control fungus on all my flowers and roses this year....it did help, but I already had a well established problem. I found that if I first picked off all the dead leaves and then used this product on the remaining good leaves...it made a big difference. It helped to keep the fungus from coming back and also, for the first time in years, controlled the Japanese beetles, which usually destroy everything! I think I saw only one beetle this year with using this product. I will purchase this again for sure. Do apply after bees are in for the night, though, as it is harmful to them until dry.

Jury is still out...
from Brooklyn, NY
This is now the third product I have used in an attempt to control mold, fungus, and yellow leaves on my roses. I don't want to say that it didn't help, but it certainly hasn't solved the problem. I still pick off around 50+ bad leaves per day (several rose bushes combined). I think that a better sprayer (continuous spray or one that can spray upside down or at angles) would make the product easier to use. As far as the actual product, I am just not sure. I give this an average review because it did not do what it said it would do (solve the problem of mold and blight on roses), but perhaps the problem would have been worse had I not used it?If there were an option under BOTTOM LINE, "I MIGHT recommend this to a friend," I would choose this rating. But since there is not, I will have to say NO and keep trying other products.
