Rugged tumbling composter includes a center baffle for dual-batch composting. Fill one side with scraps, then let that batch decompose while you fill the other side. There's no need to wait for one batch to finish before starting the next. Easy to turn. Sturdy powder-coated steel stand, recycled polyethylene body, secure double-walled sliding access door, integrated grip handles and compost tea drain.

Not for cold-weather climates or large families

Comments about : Two-Batch Tumbling Composter:
I would not buy this composter again. We have a large family and live in an area where compost is not collected, so we have a lot to compost. Therefore, we can't utilize the two-sided feature where one side is slowly decomposing while the other side is slowly filled up--we just filled both sides up! This problem is exacerbated by our Minnesota winters--everything in our composter froze. Other systems I have used place the open composter rim directly on the ground, and then the compost froze later in the season and thawed earlier in the spring. Since this composter is full, it's also very difficult to turn. We have only had the composter for about a year, so perhaps in a couple years, we will have something to show for our efforts. If you live in a warm area and have a slow, steady, stream of organic material this could work for you. For us, it didn't work well.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Pass on this one
I thought the dual chambers would be a faster way to make the compost, but it was too difficult to turn, so it was slow to decompose.
