Grow plants at an easy working height in this unique patio garden. The V-shape makes efficient use of space and planting mix — grow deep-rooted plants like tomatoes in the center, shallow-rooted crops like salad greens along the edges. Plants are out of reach of animal pests, too. Includes a fitted fabric liner to keep soil contained while letting excess water drain. Plastic feet protect wood from wet surfaces. Quality construction and easy assembly.

patio garden used as a really big window box
By Audrey the gardner
Comments about : VegTrug™ Patio Garden, Whitewash:
I have placed this patio garden outside my breakfast room window. I have planted it with beautiful fall flowers that will last all winter here in Texas. Now I have a bouquet of fresh flowers near my table for every meal!

great for compact gardens

We have a compact little yard and these vegis tugs are the best! We ordered 4 of them. A couple have flowers and a couple have vegis. Perfect!!!

This product is well made and was easily assembled. It is a nice size for our small yard, but plenty of room to grow a variety of products.

Great Addition to My Deck!
By Kari G
from St. Louis
After the deer turned my regular garden into their salad bar, I purchased the VegTrug to have a garden on my deck. It's turned out great! It's large enough for tomatoes, herbs, peppers and even squash plants. On top of that, it's so comfortable to use - no bending over necessary. I may buy another one for next year. I did buy the pest and frost covers separately. Wish I had purchased at the same time to save a few bucks!

Great idea, but wood is painted, not pressure treated or sealed. You will want to seal before use to preserve the wood.

I bought 2
The trugs are great and my plants are growing amazingly. No bending or back aches. I am a little unsure as to how long they will last And want to know how to better care for them. I do get that they should not have toxic paint on them and that's why the are not sealed or more thickly painted but I think there must be an alternative that will work. Any suggestions?
I love these planters!

We purchased one of the VegTrug planters and liked it so much that we purchased another one. We will add to them next year. They are on our deck and look nice enough that it enhances our outdoor living space.
No kneeling gardening

Excellent height and construction. It's been placed outside a patio in an area known to be full of ticks, so there's peace of mind when I'm able to stand and garden.

I was disappointed in how badly constructed this item was for what it costs. I hired a carpenter to add wood to the base for better stability.
