Buy together and save! This set includes the Compact VegTrug Patio Garden, the Compact VegTrug Frame & Greenhouse Cover and the FREE Compact VegTrug Insect Cover.
The Compact VegTrug Patio Garden lets you garden at an easy working height; no bending or kneeling to plant, tend and harvest. The compact size is ideal for smaller spaces, and the elevated bed means no weeds and fewer pests, too. The V-shape makes efficient use of space and planting mix — grow
deep-rooted plants like tomatoes in the center, shallow-rooted crops along the edges. Includes a fitted fabric liner to keep soil contained while letting excess water drain. Plastic feet protect wood from wet surfaces. Easy assembly.
The Compact VegTrug Set includes the Compact VegTrug Frame & Greenhouse Cover. You can start planting earlier in spring and extend the growing season later into fall for an even bigger harvest. The easy-to-install, 21"-high steel frame installs in minutes with convenient push-fit connectors, and the reinforced polyethylene greenhouse cover has heavy-duty stitching and zippers. The cover slips snugly over the frame and attaches with strong VELCRO® brand tabs. Zips open for ventilation and easy access to crops.
The set also includes the polyethylene micro-mesh Compact VegTrug Insect Cover to protect plants from insects, birds, harsh winds and hungry deer. To install, simply remove the greenhouse cover from the frame, and then install the insect cover in its place. Attaches with strong VELCRO® brand tabs. Zips open for ventilation and easy access to crops.

No more bending down!
Comments about : Compact VegTrug™ Patio Garden with Covers, Charcoal:
My husband assembled my compact VegTrug over the weekend. He said it was easy but glad he watched the how-to video first. I planted my lettuces and spinach right away and was glad I had the frost cover. We got some snow overnight. Can't wait to see how my crop grows. And I'm excited to choose some summer veggies after the cool lettuces are spent.I've wanted one of these elevated beds for a few years and so glad I found this one. It is so much easier on my knees and back. I spend hours in the garden. I'm sure this will help my aching bones and muscles.

Looks great, garden's thriving!
from Upstate, NY
A month or so in to my first season with the VegTrug and loving it. I covered mine with bird netting zip tied to the frame and held down with landscaping fabric pins. That way I can see inside and reach in easily, and so far the neighborhood squirrels and cats stay off. You can weave the frame through small tomato cages too. There could be better assembly instructions. Watch the video! Pretty sure a few of my neighbors will be buying one as well.

Fresh herbs in December!

I live in NY. The fact that I went outside on December 11th and had fresh parsley, sage, rosemary, thyme, oregano, and mint amazes me. Well worth the money

Easier to put together than I thought
I use it for greens- kale, spinach etc. So far the cover has kept the critters out. Just be sure to add the cover frame before the potting soil.

Compact VegTrug with 2 covers
By A the Mini Gardener
from New Jersey
i bought the compact VegTrug thinking that I would put it in a small space near my front door, which previously was occupied by a cast iron patio end table. However, the compact VegTrug was actually larger than what I had expected and provides more than enough space to grow veggies for two people. I ending up putting it on my patio and there was more than enough space for it there. It was of excellent quality, both the VegTrug itself and the two covers. The hight of the VegTrug was adequate enough for me to plant seeds without having to bend down and I m 5' 3" if that information helps anyone. Make sure to not tighten the screws before all the pieces are in place as the instructions say, this is key to putting the VegTrug together successfully.

The product, once put together, was great. However, my husband, a woodworker, had a lot of trouble finishing up the product. The last pieces did not fit properly and the holes for the pieces that go on the front and back tops to finish it, were drilled in upside down. He had to spend a lot of time to finally end up with something that worked and didn't look too bad.
Love it so far!

I just got this and won't be able to use it here in Alaska til next spring but it's together and on patio ready to go! Love the size and anxious to see what it will produce!
