Grow plants at an easy working height in this compact garden. The elevated bed means no weeds and fewer pests, and plants are out of reach of animal pests, too. The V-shape makes efficient use of space and planting mix — grow deep-rooted plants like tomatoes in the center, shallow-rooted crops like salad greens along the edges. Includes a fitted fabric liner to keep soil contained while letting excess water drain. Plastic feet protect wood from wet surfaces. Quality construction and easy assembly.

Yes, I would buy this Veg Trug again....
from Soldotna, Alaska
I will be using the three Veg Trugs for carrots, cauliflower, and possibly cabbage. Looking forward to no slugs! And most importantly no bending over to plant or harvest! I have already recommended your web site to several friends.

I have a deer problem and planted day lilies and garlic in my trug. I love it!
Aging gardeners will appreciate

Growing vegetables and herbs and the trug holds water reasonably well at 90+ degrees and higher heat indices. Hope the wood holds up and there are many knots. First season of use.
Gardening at table height

We bought 2 to enhance our condo pool area with flowers. They look great. We put them on casters so that we can move them, even though they're really heavy with all the potting soil and plants.

Love the Trug
from Largo, FL
I love the trug. I use one for my strawberries and the other for my herbs. The only problem is if you have it on a patio where you don't want any water mess, you need to come up with something for below to catch the drip water. I use two long patio potters and the recycle the water into other pots
Easy to put together, attractive, and sturdy
from Northport, NY
I put the Veg Trug together with very little difficulty, but as other people have mentioned the bolts do not fit the round openings and I had to force them through with a few strikes of a hammer. The wood is on the soft side so there was no risk of splitting the wood. I filled it up with three 50 quart bags of Miracle grow and we are ready to go. It is very attractive and makes a nice addition to my deck.
