Easier and faster to use than by hand. Use it all the time.
Works really only on herbs with sturdy stems
from St. Louis, MO
Fine for rosemary and thyme, but herbs with softer stems. like cilantro etc, just break when you try to pull them through. It's a cool little gadget and I'm still going to play with it.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Does not work as well as I thought it should.
from Tulsa, Oklahoma
I have some lavender twigs, they would not slide thru removing the leaves. Maybe a small cutting blade on holes would work better.
Great for harder stemmed herbs
Works wonderfully for rosemary but often breaks stems with thyme, oregano which are softer. I still love it for its ease in stripping rosemary.

I bought several of these; two as gifts and one for myself. My fiends were thrilled! I used mine yesterday, and i love it! The holes ars different sizes for various sizes of stems -- nice! I used it with dried thyme, which was great. Rosemary is next!
Best. Gadget. Ever.
Received this as a gift and this grateful for the thought and had a perfect home for it. The back of the second drawer next to the stove. If you hours ago while I was making red sauce from my tomato crop I decided to use herbs from my garden into the sauce. I looked in that second drawer and Voila! Gave it a quick wash. Did to the same herb say cut from the garden. Deployed the gadget. It took all of about two minutes. Results exceeded my expectations. Great product and inexpensive as well!
