Doesn't work. Horrible experience.
from Santa Rosa, CA
Z-ring support did not support my plant, did not stay clipped together, did not stay up. I bought 6 and had high hopes. Sending back. After 1-1/2hrs to unpack overly taped, bent up boxes and flatten cardboard and put it all in recycling, I spent another 1-1/2 hrs trying to install and get the support to work. My experience was nothing like the video. Even 4 support posts wouldn't support it right. The black posts were obtrusive too. What a waste of time. My plant is not happy either. Might work on a small light weight plant. I wanted to give zero stars but this program didnt allow it.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Z Ring plant supports
from Eastern Pa
They were not strong enough to hold my hollyhocks. I had to add more support to each stem. My hollyhocks grow to 6 feet. Supports needed readjustment as they slid down from original position. And times the clips came off.
I love these supports!

These were great for delphinium and foxglove. And the supports looked very nice in the garden. I thought it was really easy to set up.

Has been a great plant support that I've found to be the best for the last several seasons
Iffy in rocky soil
from Mount Vision NY
It is a good size for my plants. However, in New York rocky soil it is hard to get the poles adjusted to the right width so that the cross piece does not keep falling off.

Not user friendly
from Beaverton OR
I was expecting to support an existing tall False Indigo plant. It was extremely difficult to hold the plant will trying to install the support & level it & hook the z part.I will keep them & try them on smaller plants next season as I tossed the boxes & I don't want to pay the postage to return them.

I recommend but alignment can be slightly off
from North East Maryland
As tall plants get heavy with flowers this helps support them from falling over; however, the alignment of the snaps may be off. Connecting on the one side is fine, but to get the other side to connect may take some work as the alignment of the snaps to supports is off. Plus I did not get all the caps to put on the top of the posts.

I'm buying more!

I grow peonies and sedum that flops over by mid-season. The trick for using these supports to their maximum benefit and ease to install is to place them before the plant grows very large.

Flower Support Stakes
from Lancaster, Pennsylvania
Stakes do not hinder the plants from growing their fullest. The stakes actually are hidden with the foliage. stakes can easily be reused year after year.
