Offer four kinds of food to visiting birds. Place a suet cake in the basket for woodpeckers and nuthatches. Add an apple or orange on the spike to attract orioles, tanagers and cedar waxwings. The large landing platform doubles as a seed tray for platform feeders like cardinals. And the huge seed hopper means you need to refill less often.

Much better than expected
from West Orange, NJ
This bird house was much bigger than I thought it would be which pleased me to no end. It is well made and can be hung or put on a pole. Each end has a place for suet or fruit as well as seed in the middle. It was a steal at the price!

The bird feeder is heavy and made of untreated wood.
By Mary Ann
from Mountaindale, NY
The bird feeder is larger and heavier than I thought it would be. The most negative comment is that it is made of untreated wood. I will have to have it stained or painted in order to preserve it. I do like the different feeding stations it has.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Easy to fill and clean. Although the seed can drop onto the grate and get wet it is not difficult to remove. Birds started using it almost immediately.
