Comments about : Fruit Fly Trivet Trap w/3 Lures:

This fits perfectly underneath my wire fruit bowl. Of course, by the time I ordered it the weather changed and it killed all the fruit flies! I can't comment on how effective it was for the flies, unfortunately. But it is a quality made product that I expect to function well next fruit fly season!

      • Looks great on kitchen table.

Comments about : Fruit Fly Trivet Trap w/3 Lures:

Wonderful for those bananas that end up in banana bread, but not before they attract those little pests. Not appropriate for "whole kitchen" fruit fly attacks but it works with the bowl above it, just as promised. Right now I have some tomatoes from my garden in the bowl and at least one was on the overripe side. I was going to cook with that one tonight. There are no fruit flies!
I bought two, one for me and one for a neighbor who was complaint of the buggers in her kitchen. Actually then, this is a two for one review. She is pleased also. No fruit flies in her kitchen either!

this was good in theory, but i'm not sure it's really working. the flies congregate around the opening, and when I added the water it spilled all around. Not sure how to clean it out.

        Did not work at all

        By Linda

        from Union MO

Comments about : Fruit Fly Trivet Trap w/3 Lures:

This attracted no fruit flies. I even tried my faithful apple cider vinegar instead of the lure. I finally ran a test and put vinegar in both the trap and a glass with a piece of plastic with a hole in it on top. The glass caught all the flies, the trap, none.
