When it’s time to pot up seedlings into larger containers, this planting mix helps them make smooth, stress-free transitions. A blend of peat and moisture-retaining coir reduces drought stress and helps plants stay hydrated. Ideal for use in all types of containers, from hanging baskets to large pots.
Our SuperRoot Booster with MycoActive® Technology creates the living soil mix that plants need to thrive. The secret? Mycorrhizae, amazing microbes that form a partnership with roots to support vigorous and resilient plant growth.

About Me New gardener
Comments about : Transplant Mix, 30 Qts.:
I waited until your "free shipping" offer to order this heavy item; my seedlings are doing very well! As a new gardener, I am surprised how quickly I am using this stuff up, with my "eager beaver" seed starting this season. 30 quarts sounds like a lifetime supply, but I will probably have to reorder before the season is up.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Excellent transition material for seedlings
from Northern KY
I have tried a number of soil-less and soils for transplanting seedlings out of cells and into larger pots, and always come back to Gardener's Supply. It's just the best! High quality material, never any big sticks to pick out or mold happening. Just clean, organic material. I love that it has mycorrhizae, I've found it really helps with root development. Strong roots equal strong plants. Soil and transplanting mixes are often your biggest expense when growing from seed, and this is worth the price and then some.

Tomatoes in their second stage containers waiting to go in the ground.

I have purchased four bags of this Transplanting Mix this year and on my second bag. My transplant seedlings are doing very well.
I would buy this product again.
This is the best transplanting product. I have used this for several years. One year I ran short so I went to a big box store and bought potting soil. It was full of sticks and all kinds of debris. This was a name brand. Plants were not very healthy. So from now on I only use this. healthy plants that look great . Good stuff!!!!
Tomato seedlings love it.

Best potting soil available

I use this for transplants and also for houseplants. It works well because it allows the roots to breathe instead of packing tight like other soils. Healthy plants are the result.
The best mix for greenhouse transplanting
I love this transplant mix for boosting the growth of all my veggie starts in the greenhouse in winter and spring. New starts just take off when transplanted into pots with this soil. Great stuff,

I tried other mixes including a few of my own. I found it much simpler to use Gardner's mix. it is ready to use, works great. I started the seeds in Gardner's starting mix, transplanted into larger containers for indoor salad garden for the winter.
