Comments about : Compact 3-Tier SunLite® Garden:
I took a loooong time deciding what I want to do to have a setup to grow indoors all year. I decided this was the best option for me. I have this grow light stand in my large, sunny, warm bathroom. It replaces a small table on which I had a table top light stand. I am using the 3 tier stand to start cherry tomatoes, and to also grow lettuce mix and spinach indoors for my salads. I also have a dwarf pomegranate that just seems to love it, as it is getting several buds. I love growing plants and I think this will serve me well for a long time.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I have some seeds planted and germinated. Fun to see those little green shoots. The Sun-Lite garden was not too hard to put together. I did it by myself, having a second person would make it much easier. It is nice and compact but still has plenty of space for starting a nice small garden. If i had more space i would buy another one!

The compact 3-tier SunLite Garden is just the right size to sit in front of standard narrow window in my potting shed. This product was packed securely, came with easily understandable instructions, and the only tools required were a phillips-head screwdriver and a hammer. It took me about 1 1/2 hours to put it together, and the lights are extremely bright. I'm using a power strip with a surge protectorto plug in all the cords. The large, deep trays are perfect for seed starting and catching any run off. I am very pleased.

I set it right up in my kitchen and put the lights on a timer. They are already on when I come downstairs at 6 am. A very cheery reminder that spring is here.
Works great for our needs, despite a few inconveniences

About Me Hobbyist
The shelf is a great unit for starting seeds and growing herbs. It is as advertised. While we are very happy with the unit overall. However, there are a few cons: The instructions are not fully clear regarding construction. Better images might help and clearly identifying which way the dimpled bolt holes on the fram pieces should face would help. Also, the shelf pans are smaller than the shelf opening which is a waste of useable space. Lastly, the power cord on the sun lamps makes them hang at an angle - not straight. We solved this by strapping the cords to the vertical bars with Velcro straps. We also got a bad part, but customer service was on the job and responded quickly to provide the replacement part. Nice job!

I live in zone 5 so this is saving my succulent and cacti collection. Very little sunshine these days, and without this lighting, my plants would be dead.
