Put some teeth in your digging with the Super Shovel! It slices through roots, rocky soil and baked clay with sharp teeth forged of high-carbon steel. The reinforced fiberglass handle — much stronger than typical handles — absorbs shock and reduces fatigue.

I have coveted this shovel for years
By P.A. out-standing in the field
from Berkley, Michigan
Just received this shovel about a month ago and haven't had too much opportunity to test it, but the construction is solid and the teeth clean and sharp. Just the right size for me, a smaller, shorter gardener. Looking forward to digging many things up next season.
Nice tool for heavy work.

I have dug up small trees with this shovel as well as that pesky smilax. It's the first time the smilax came up with its nasty white bulb roots attached. I felt empowered!
this is a great purchase

Best shovel ever
By Cavalier Lady
This shovel is ideal for digging up dense plants, uprooting unwanted plants, just plain digging a hole! The spikes make it so much easier to break up the clay dirt we have here. Just bought one for my son and his wife.
I can move anything now!
from Westport CT
I am 83 years old and still moving plants around. I had 2 unhappy rose plants that needed more sun and none of my shovels (5) could move the soil around the roses. Searching for the solution, I came across this miraculous shovel. It cut right through the tree roots surrounding the rose plants with a reasonable amount of digging and now has become my favorite tool.
Transplanted with ease
By Jentleman Jim

I guess I'd have to pick "Avid Gardener" because I've sure planted enough and replanted (to replace the ones that didn't make it). But I had two plants (forgotten the name) outside the master bedroom window that the Home Ruler constantly complained needed trimming. Dang things were supposed to bloom but bloomed on new growth so never really got the chance. Brilliant idea - transplant to an area where they can grow to their heart's content. Saw this shovel and decided it would be better than trying to dig them up with an ax and a mattock. This handy tool worked very well for the job and come spring we'll see if they survived my ministrations. The removal and transplanting went smoothly for a 77 year old. Of course hiring a younger lad to do the heavy work helped a great deal too.
