High-quality materials and superior craftsmanship make this transplant spade a pleasure to use. The smooth handle is FSC-certified ash with a Y-shaped grip, and it's attached to the spade with a deep, double-riveted socket joint that provides just the right amount of flex. The polished stainless steel blade slides smoothly into the soil. The narrow blade is ideal for use in confined spaces and lets you work between plants without damaging them, yet is long enough to dig deep holes. A backward-rolled tread lessens foot fatigue. Comments about : Craftsbury Stainless Transplant Spade:
Love the shape of this transplant spade. The only negative thing I would have to say is about the wooden handle. It is rather heavy and not very smooth. An extra coat of varnish would have improved the look and feel.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
