Apply water just where you want it — and not where you don't. With the Snip -n-Drip Soaker System you can easily create a customized watering system. No special tools required — just use scissors to cut the soaker hose to fit garden beds, and then cut the garden hose to fit between beds where you don't need water. Snap the fittings in place and you're ready to water. The weeping action of soaker hoses delivers water right to the roots, with minimal loss due to evaporation and runoff. Soaker hoses use up to 80% less water than sprinklers! Waters up to four zones. We recommend our Earth Staples, sold separately, to hold soaker hoses in place.

This is a flexible, ingenious system that I've used for many years and lasts at least 2 seasons. There are 2 drawbacks - it can spring leaks after the first season, but is easily repaired without replacing the whole system; it does not have great water pressure by the end of a long run.
I no longer had to be the daily watering system

We use the soaker hoses, about 400 feet , to water our vegetable gardens and flower garden. We water the vegetables twice daily when plants are young and continue watering to decrease the plant funguses we have had from overhead watering. The system works quite well although we have had to easily replace parts with leaks in the second year. The biggest draw back for us is we have hard well water and with daily use, the hoses are getting crusted with a iron deposit and will have to be replaced- an expensive watering solution.
This is the second one I have purchased.

I liked the first one so well I bought another. Water distribution is much better than from the ones from the big box stores.
What a great product

Easy to use, high quality and a great value.
I would try this product again.
I waited a year or so before actually connecting the system after I bought it. I agree with previous comments, that the hose springs leaks which require additional coupling, but I am running out of couples. It is a great idea and works for the physical arrangement of my landscaping which is u-shaped around my deck with the water spigot on one side only. I will buy another set in the spring and connect immediately. I have used soaker hoses before but they did not have the option to use intermittent solid hoses and they do not last forever. I should get 4-5 yrs.out of one but this has proved problematic during the first year connected.
Love this watering system!

I've used many different diy irrigation systems over the years but this was by far the easiest and most flexible to install and configure.
