An ingenious farmer makes these transplanting pots from odor-free, 100% composted cow manure. As your
seedlings grow, the pots gradually degrade, releasing organic nutrients. Plant pot and all in the garden for healthy
root growth without transplant shock. Set of 4 6-pack s with 2-3/4" cells.

Use these every year!!
Comments about : 2-3/4" Square Cowpots 6-Packs, Set of 4:
I use these every year to get my seeds off to a healthy start. They are just the right size to keep the seedlings in right up until you cut them (or rip them) apart and plant them right in the garden. Easy peasy, my favorite! And no damage to those delicate roots. As an added bonus, the cowpots break down in the soil to add extra nourishment. Love these babies!

I have used these cow pots for all different kinds of tomato plants and they really help them to grow and give them enough of space.

Great product for undisturbed root systems when planting

Other than the "odor", these are very easy to use. Hold their shape well and allow for roots to grow through the walls of the pot.
Love these pots.

I have used these for years, I keep coming back for more. Great for starting seeds early so that they're ready to go when it's warm enough to transplant Awesome product.
Would purchase again

Appears to be a good product. Haven't used them yet as it's still a bit early to start seedlings. They were a gift.
Cowpots are a great way to start seeds
By A Kentucky Gardener

I like to start my garden from seed a little before in-ground planting season begins. There are several advantages, among them knowing exactly what you're growing and the conditions under which it was raised. Though I'm not a certified organic gardener, I like to grow things naturally without potentially harmful chemicals added into the process. So, cowpots are a perfect choice for me! I start my seeds in my own seed-starting mixture in the cowpots in a warm, sunny window or in my greenhouse so that they will have a good solid start by the time I put them in my garden beds. Since the cowpot is planted right along with the plant, there is minimal transplant shock to the tender, young plants as their root systems go undisturbed. Plus, being made from cow manure, the cowpots provide bit of extra nutrition to the plants. Eventually the roots grow right through them. While there are a notable few plants that typically don't do well with transplanting, most of them thrive, and you can always be sure of exactly what you're growing. Plus, especially for those who live in areas where the growing season is not very long, it gives you a jump on the season so your plants have more time to grow to maturity. A healthy start makes for a healthy harvest!

I grow a lot of tomatoes and pepper and the larger size of these starters is great. My plants will get a better start and less risk of transplant shock.
Cowpots still best for seedstarting
from Lexington, MA
Perfect size for many types of seeds. I received a shipment where two of the sets were crushed, and individual cowpots were torn, making them useless. better to get packaged differently, and protected better in shipment.
Have been using Cowpots for several years

I have used Cowpots for several years when transplanting individual plants from seed-starting flats. They break down completely when planted in the garden with no need to clean/recycle plastic pots.
