Stress free planter!
Comments about : 17" Self-Watering Rolling Planter, White:
I love this planter. I have a hard time knowing when to water and sometimes just forget. With this planter, I just fill the reservoir and check on it every 3-4 days, stress free watering. It was a first time purchase and I love it!

About Me Master Gardener
We use these boxes to supplement our large vergetable garden. We grow a variety of lettuces and carrots nearer to the house for quick picking and it is great to be able to roll them into the shade on the hottest of days. Pots retain water and work very well. A quick surface spritz daily and they stay perfectly wet for the plants. We have 8 of these self watering pots in assorted sizes and they stay out in Northern CA year round. If it is a mild winter, crops will grow in them thru the winter. They have been very durable and held up very well. This year we received about 60 inches of rain and the deepest one did not drain as well as the others and got very waterlogged. But I dumped the soaked soil, added new and now it is back in business, good as new. Think that was extraordinary circumstances! Overall these are fantastic and well made pots that ease my watering, offer great versatility (ability to move into sun or shade as needed) and grow many wonderful foods for us!

About Me Avid Gardener
I bought this planter in black this spring, together with the potting soil recommended by Gardner's Supply Co. and used them to replant one of several dahlias that I had removed from their usual containers last Fall, when storing them for the winter. The dahlia replanted into this container has grown twice as fast as those planted in the other containers and clearly is a happy camper.
I love this planter!

I have planted two with dwarf blueberry bushes. I can keep them on my deck--easy to keep the birds away and to roll to different deck locations.
Love it - easy to move heavy plants around!
from Lincoln, NE
This is the second one of these I've had. The first one lasted well over 18 years, and since it spent half it's life outside in Midwest weather, I am just amazed at how well it held up! It finally developed some holes and the plastic deteriorated, so I got another one - that was a no brainer!Love that I can roll it outside it the warm weather, and then just roll him back in when it turns cold. Very handy!
This is a pretty planter, lightweight.

Not as good as it used to be
Had these for years and replaced when I moved. New version much flimsier, had to call as all 4 were damaged in shipping. They were replaced, good customer service. Second, no overflow hole like the old ones, thus I have a swamp after recent heavy rains. I'm worried about drilling holes since so flimsy. Also cut hand on sharp edge trying to roll it.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
GREAT SELF WATERING PLANTER
We filled the reservoir and went on vacation without any worry about the watering. After being gone for 6 days the tomato plants were well watered.
