Invite pollinating bees to your yard by planting beneficial habitat that includes nectar- and pollen-rich flowers. Simply toss these seed balls on prepared soil to grow a variety of flowers bees love, including Mexican sunflowers, borage, cosmos, asters, coreopsis, marigolds, poppies and forget-me-nots. Each seed ball contains a packet's worth of seed, rolled with a proprietary mix of organics and clay to provide ideal growing conditions. Rain and watering dissolves the clay, allowing the seeds to sprout surrounded by a source of the nutrients. The rustic burlap bag contains eight seed balls. Handmade in the USA by a company that employs persons with disabilities.

Not As I Hoped
from Upstae NY
I thought I'd give these seed balls a try, despite negative reviews, because they were on sale. However, they did not sprout at all. I was hoping to see at least a few blooms!

To plant around fruit trees and other bee-attracting plants in the garden. Just planted, so will update the review when we see results.

Great stocking stuffers
from New Hampshire coast
Anxious to see these work both for lovely flowers and pollinators. Our gardens lack bees. They were well received in my husbands Christmas stocking. I i only gave it 3 stars as they have not yet been planted.
Hope to save the bees

Save the Bees!
By Jane V
from Bloomfield, NJ
I gave this gift to my sister for her honey bees. In our area there are not a lot of pollinator friendly flowers in suburbia.

Our front and back yard are gardens and we wanted more bee friendly additions, so this will be perfect (once spring arrives!).
