Love this product
I liked this compost crock so much that I bought one for my sister too. It looks good in my kitchen and holds plenty of vegetable and fruit trimmings
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Gift for my father
By Hoosier in Wyoming
This crock is gorgeous! My dad has been using a nasty bucket outside the back door for his compost for years! He loves having his compost "bucket" inside, especially in the winter! It looks great!

Compost in a Space-saving package
By Grannie Gardener
Loved the tall configuration--saves space on a counter! Also, the red color reminds me to use it all the time. I am new to composting, and stopping the garbage grinding habit needs a reminder.
This product is a must if you compost.

Look nice on our kitchen counter
Looks nice and easy to clean. The only disadvantage is that it is narrower at the top so it is sometimes hard to pull the compostable bag out if it is too full or heavy. If you are not using a biodegradable bag - this should not be an issue.

This crock looks great but has a bad design. The narrowing at the top limits the use of compost bags. Trying to lift the compost bag out when it is full or even partially full is almost impossible without the bag ripping. What a mess! I should have purchased the stainless steel one.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Attractive but not so practical

Looks great but opening is too small. Hard to remove liner bag.
Love this item. Just the right size for the compost!
