It's amazing how small non-migrating songbirds — just little lively bits of fluff and feathers — can survive bitter cold, rain and snow. Here's a naturally appealing way to help them withstand the elements. This set of three Roosting Pockets gives small birds like chickadees, wrens and finches a cozy place to get out of the weather. The woven reed construction provides a rough surface that bird prefer for ease of entering and exiting. A naturally weather-resistant cedar roof sheds moisture to keep the occupants nice and dry inside. Built-in twine loop makes it simple to hang your Roosting Pockets from sheltering limbs.

The birds don't seem interested.

Comments about : Roosting Pockets, Set of 3:
They seemed like a good idea. I mounted them near the bird feeders and thought the birds would like using them this winter. But they've been out there for weeks and I have yet to see a bird use any of them.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Merchant response: Thanks for taking the time to share your experience with the Roosting Pockets (#8590896). We're sorry for your disappointment. They should be installed in a spot protected by nearby limbs and cover where birds will feel sheltered from predators. The pockets are sized for smaller songbirds such as chickadees, wrens and house finches. We guarantee our products 100% and want to resolve this to your satisfaction. Very cute birdhouses for wrens and small birds

I purchased 3 sets one for myself and for 2 other family members. They are so well made and beautiful! I hung mine tucked into some thick evergreens for the small birds to hopefully take up residence and get out of the brutal cold. So far, no one has moved in, but I did put them out in the dead of winter. Hopefully in the Springtime when the birds are busy finding places to build their nests someone will move in. My sister in-law text me the day after Christmas a picture of the 3 roosting pockets hanging in a tree with a string of tiny white lights outside her window that said "Favorite gift!!! Thank you, xoxo" I highly, highly recommend them! I cannot say enough about the charm and quality of these Roost Pockets.

Wonderful Shelters for Feathered Friends!
from Northern Illinois
I bought one set for my family & one for a relative. They are well made, nicely designed and will no doubt be appreciated by our little feathered friends.
Son-in-law loves it!
For a birder it's a great gift. Always the best from Gardener's Supply.
These are so cute!
from Birdsboro, PA
It's a bit too soon to see birds using these houses yet but I'm sure the many song birds I've seen over this summer will appreciate a nice warn cozy place out of the cold come fall and winter. In the meantime, they look absolutely adorable hanging from my maple tree and tucked up into an evergreen right outside my sun room window! Will probably be purchasing them again soon to hang in ever more places.
Could not be cuter!

These are just adorable, I won't put them out until the weather gets cold but I can already imagine my small bird friends having a safer place to roost this winter.
