With these protective cones, you can plant tomatoes outdoors up to 6 weeks earlier, and be harvesting by early July! The water-filled teepees regulate temperature, soaking up heat during the day and releasing it at night. Without the stress of weather extremes, plants can put their energy into producing fruit.

Great Head Start

Comments about Red Tomato Teepees, Set of 3:
Living in southern NC, I wanted to give my tomatoes a head start so they can produce fruit long before the dreaded heat of the summer. The plants are thriving in the teepees, which will come off in just a couple more weeks. Already have flowers, but not sure if the bees can get to them to pollenate.

Can't live without walls of water in Vermont!
from Hartland, VT
I love how useful they are! The material on these red walls of water is a bit more sturdy than the green, so easier to fill. I hope they last as long! I need advise on how to dry them before storing for the season.

We used the water walls over our tomatoes. This spring has been abnormally cold and wet, but our tomatoes are growing so quickly! Already they are peaking through the top of the walls. I am going to invest in more for my melons and peppers.
