Nice finished look 5 I left the backing fabric intact. Extremely easy to install. Just laid them in place, edged with a heavy flat shovel, removed the grass and placed the rings in place. The trees look nicely finished and it will protect the tree trunks from the mower going too close. Great for moisture retention too. Kate Pittsburgh, Pa 2018-04-12
Just got another one 5 I got my first 24" ring over ten years ago, and have never been disappointed. Every new tree gets one, they last, they block weeds and makes it easy to mow around. I went 36" for this time, because it's a bush and extra clearance is helpful. Slacker Brandenburg, ky 2017-12-01
36" Tree Ring 5 This tree ring is very hefty. Easy to install with its flexibility. Very permeable and retains water well. Jeff the hobby farmer North Alabama 2017-10-30
Great tree ring 5 Great quality and a great price. No more cleaning up around my tree. cat_tem Beckville, TX 2017-09-18
Wonderful 5 Put these around some small lilac bushes so I don't need to drag out the weed whacker. Easy to install and now can mow right up to the tree without fear of injuring. Nice and heavy so no problem with wind either. Tctne Colorado 2017-09-04
Excellent quality 5 Love the 36" tree ring so much that I bought a 24" for a smaller tree. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. Very prompt delivery by Gardener's Supply also! Janiez Freeland, PA 2017-08-03
Best thing to keep the mowers away 5 I have these around my small trees to keep the lawn mowers away and stop them from damaging the trunk. They are effortless to install and last for years - at least until the trees are big enough to withstand some bark damage. BcliffMom New York 2017-07-24
Cost saver in other ways 5 By keeping the weeds at bay, these tree rings keep us from having to spray weed killer around the base of our fruit trees! Our mowing crew can also easily circle the trees, and there's no need to weed-eat! We have found the tree rings to be an investment that's worth the cost. We save money and time on mulch, mowing, weed-eating, and we can comfortably use the fruit to bless others without using pesticides (another cost saver)! SAVE ON MULCH! 4 I have been using these types of rings for years. I find them quite sturdy and last for years! The only difficulty I find with these is cutting the material to fit around the tree trunk. I tried the coco fiber ones, but was disappointed. The fiber did not even last 2 years, not to mention that the birds loved using the fiber as nesting material. weeroc NEW JERSEY 2017-07-07
I would buy this product again 5 This is really heavy duty and will keep the grass from growing up under our small apple trees. Jewel Snohomish WA 2017-07-03
