Mini-greenhouse provides plant protection from cold temperatures and chilly winds, so you can set plants out in the garden weeks earlier in spring. You’ll be amazed at how much faster plants grow — which means an earlier harvest! Our Pop Up Grow Bag Accelerator fits over our Tomato Grow Bag Set (with the bottom section of the Power Tower™ support) and Pepper Grow Bag Set, as well as our Universal Grow Bag. Set it up in seconds: Release the toggles and it pops open, ready to place over plants. The top is made from mesh to allow warm air to escape, preventing overheating, and it also lets water in. When the weather warms up, you can unzip the top and leave it open for even better ventilation. Made from durable, reinforced greenhouse fabric. Flattens for easy off-season storage. Loops at the base let you anchor it to the ground with Earth Staples, sold separately.

Met my needs.
from Greenfield, Indiana
I used the pop-up bag to keep chipmunks from eating my tomatoes. It worked great. It was easy to cover and uncover. Happy with my purchase.

This year has been a challenge: cold wet spring, unpredictable summer, add to this a hungry woodchuck and you get the picture. In desperation I bought a dozen of these Pop-Up Grow Bag Accelerators, I put them over my tomatoes, peas, and beans all of which were either struggling or eaten away. In the few weeks following the difference is astounding. Everything has rebounded and at least doubled in size, I have been able to pick vine ripened tomatoes with no bites taken out of them and finally harvest peas and beans. My cucumbers, which are parthenocarpic, have avoided the dreaded wilt disease and have completely filled the accelerator, I keep the top closed so no bugs even know they're there.Next year all of my plants will be planted out in these, they are basically a mini-greenhouse and will jump start and protect everything I grow. They seem sturdy and well made, they should last several seasons, a wonderful buy.
I love these pop-up grow bags.

I use these bags to give my tomatoes an early start . A foot taller, (really), than plants without them when I took them off. Ease of installation and storage make this a best product. No mess. Can collapse and raise again around plant to fertilize, prune. No downside!

Great for Tomatoes
from Portland, Or
These are not only good for keeping plants warm, but the plants can be pollinated since the top opens. They also keep deer and other critters out. I also have the smaller version which I like as well.

So far, so good

This was recommended to me. I'm still discovering these covers. Make sure you secure it to the ground do it doesn't get blown by the wind.I need it for the full summer as our nights are cool. I'm still not sure how it will work once it's time to harvest, there is no access to the fruit unless you remove the cover completely. It makes me think I'll struggle to put it back on.I like it's portability, you can move your pots around with the cover, as needed.
