Starting from seed? Pop Out Pots are the secret to seedlings that are primed for explosive growth in the garden! Transplant young seedlings from seed starting trays into our self-watering Pop-Out Pots and they’ll grow so much larger and healthier. When it’s time to set plants in the garden, Pop-Up Pots also eliminate transplant shock. Simply lift the fabric capillary strips to “pop out” plants without disturbing roots.
We "thought like a plant" when we designed these pots and included features we knew would ensure the healthiest and happiest plants. We tested them in our in-house Garden Lab by starting tomato seeds in a cell pack, and then transplanting some of the seedlings into Pop-Out Pots. In just 2 weeks, the plants in the Pop-Out Pots were 40% larger, with healthier roots, stems and foliage!
The four large pots provide plenty of room for roots, and the capillary strips wick water from the reservoir all the way up the sides for consistent moisture. The result? Large, healthy plants that quickly acclimate to outdoor growing. Four 3-1/2" square pots plus self-watering reservoir tray.

Easy way to start seeds.

Comments about : Pop Out Pots, Set of 4:
This was easy to set up and use to start seeds and worked well. The pots seem durable but this was the first year I've used them. There are only 4 cells so they might not appeal to someone starting a large number of seeds.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Was amazing how large my veggies from seed grew and how easy it was to remove for transplanting in garden.
Consistent water, easy to use
from Ann Arbor, MI
Started Sweet Peas in these pots. Nice, consistent water for the seedlings. Very easy to remove when transplanting without damaging any roots or the seedlings.
Sturdy build and seedlings doing great
from Pittsburgh, PA
So far so good! We're using them for both vegetable and flower sprouts. Roots grow well in these deep pots and so far transplants have been successful. The only negative is with the deep pots you need relatively tall shelving space to fit the pots/plants/lights. We hope they will last many seasons-- the somewhat pliable thick plastic seems designed to last, but this is our first season using these. So much better than the biodegradable peat pots that don't really break down and dry out too easily while growing seedlings indoors.
My seedlings are doing Great
My Tomato starts look so good. The pop-out pots allowed me to start our tomatoes and peppers earlier without them getting "leggy".
So easy to use!
from Dousman, WI
I start many vegetables from seed and these pots make it very easy to keep the young plants watered. The plants are easily transferred to the garden without much trauma to the root system.
I plan on buying more. I purchsed 12 to begin with.
from Blandon, Pa.
Because of the size, as my tomatoes grew I just kept adding soil. They now are approximately 8 inches tall and very sturdy. Also did not have to worry about watering. Getting ready to harden off and plant. Best results I have ever had starting tomatoes with the pots.
This worked very well to start my seedlings
