This mini version of our popular bottle tree shines among low-growing flowers and adds pop to a planter. Placing empty glass bottles in the garden began as a superstition about capturing evil spirits. These days, a bottle tree is an easy way to create one-of-a-kind garden art, mark a special occasion or add sparkling color to a quiet spot in the garden. Our mini version has a rustic, hand-painted finish and holds seven bottles, not included. We recommend our Mini Bottles, sold separately, or any bottles that are 5" high or smaller.

We have over 900 daylilies and these mini bottle trees were the most photographed things during our open garden this year.

Pretty colored bottles in my planter! Looks like a sculptured piece from a winery. Fun to share with friends in my back yard.

Pretty idea - but a mess in reality

I ordered this container sized bottle bush to continue the bottle theme I have in my garden (3 much larger bottle trees and bushes, wine bottle patio lamps, etc). The spikes that ground this "bush" into the ground are too short. Using the mini-bottles sold by Gardeners, it was too top heavy and fell over within hours - covering my patio with shards of broken colored glass.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Cute bottle bush
Cute bottle bush will look great in my small flower bed. Only downside is it's one dimensional. I guess I can position the bottles in a way that makes it "open up".

The Mini Bottle tree and Mini Bottles are right at home peeking thru the leaves of my broad-leaf plant at work. I wanted something that was not too cutesy but still reflected my taste for the unusual. This was it. People are constantly saying how unique it is. It's 4-prong base makes it quite sturdy. The mini bottles are just the right scale to complement without over- (or under-) whelming the tree. I was so taken with it's originality that I ordered one for my sister for her birthday.
