Standing almost 7' high with a built-in gate, this arbor is a lovely way to welcome garden visitors. The simple yet elegant outline is punctuated by delicate quatrefoil scrolls, and the rich, matte-black finish resembles wrought iron. The arbor is lovely on its own and even more stunning when adorned with flowering vines or climbing roses. The gate starts about 2" above ground and latches shut. The legs of the arbor end in 8" pointed stakes for easy and secure installation.

The perfect garden gate for us
By Gardener Tom

We were trying to figure out how to keep the deer out of our roses and still have easy access. This gate with a small modification is the perfect fit! The gate was easy to assemble (about 15 minutes each) and is quite nice to look at with the decorative touches.

Laurel Arbor with Gate
from Phoenix, AZ
I got 3 and added one more to a 26 foot long planter. The two end places of the garden that is 5 feet deep by 26 feet long - place one with doors at each end. Took doors off the two center ones. Saved the 1 door with the closing flap to it and we put a gate in front of the garden for an easy access. Have 3 entrances to garden. 1) These Arbors have solar lights on them but in winter time, I will put the freeze cloth over them to keep the plants from freezing. Probably do something similar for keeping the plants from getting to hot with our Phoenix summer sun.

Before buying this cute arbor, I researched many others. This was the least expensive and one of the nicest arbors that I found. It was very easy to put together, even easier to set up, and it looks perfect at the entry to our backyard. I purchased some colored solar lights to put around it which just added to the overall cuteness.

Needs better method for setting in place. I drilled holes in stepping stones to anchor it but not easy. When everything is squared the gates don't match properly but it makes a beautiful structure in the garden.

It's lovely but the gate doesn't sit right when latched
from St Louis, MO
the gate latch is poorly designed so that when latched, you either scratch the metal or the gate doesn't Stay straight across
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Waited a long time for this back order but worth it! It's the final landscaping component to make one corner of my yard a private little secret garden. Cannot wait until spring to see my clematis begin to drape over.
