These durable plant markers are neat-looking, last for years, and really stay put. The large nameplates have room for recording variety names, sources and planting dates. These plant labels are ideal for marking the position of bulbs at planting time so you don't dig them up by mistake! Zinc-coated nameplates on galvanized wire legs. We recommend our permanent Paint Marker, sold separately.

I am an avid gardener - mostly flowers, but veggies too. I especially love daylilies, glads and iris. People were always asking me what the name of the flower/plant was, where I bought it, etc. Often, I could not recall the name. These garden tags solved my problem!
I have purchased these before...very happy with them

Seems good, but has not gone through a winter. Marking issue
By joyful gardener
I used a blue sharpie to label the perennials. After one month the sign had faded and was barely visible. I remarked the labels using a black sharpie and saw how the metal absorbed the ink. So I wrote the name multiple times. It appears to be holding up better. I am rating this as a 3 because they have not yet gone through a winter season, and so I cannot say anything about the durability. The durability is most important to me, as I need the plants to remain marked until the early spring so they will not be mistaken for weeds.
Same good product.

Since I am an avid gardener and just a smidge OCD, I've always labeled my plantings and have used Gardener's Supply kind for several years. Plant labels also help visitors to my garden who are interested in a particular shrub, tree, or flower. These labels and the "legs" last a long while unless they are hit by a weed eater! Do plan to reapply the name to the label over time because the sun fades the writing no matter what you use to write on it.
The markers are sturdy and you have a large writing surface.
