I would buy it again. 4 Way over built. It could be lighter and still plenty strong. More pictures necessary in the directions. Jack Petoskey, MI 2018-04-13
This is the 3rd garden cart I've bought! 5 My first garden cart lasted at least 20 years...so replaced it with the same exact model last year. This year I bought the same one for my daughter for Christmas. Now she won't need to borrow mine for all her gardening! This cart is indispensable...I literally use it everyday during the gardening season in Wisconsin, March-November. Amy Southwest Wisconsin 2018-01-02
Great New Garden Cart that replaced the same 30 yr old cart 5 After 30 years of service, I replaced my old garden cart with the exact same cart from Gardeners Supply. It is great. Doug Londonderry, VT 2017-11-13
Far superior to other brand 5 I have a similar cart purchased 20+ yrs ago. Both are good but the Gardeners Supply cart is more rugged. The tailgate frame prevents bulging sides but still facilities easy gate removal. If the load in this style carts is positioned over the axle then you will never stain moving hundreds of pounds. The large bicycle tires are heavy duty and you will never have a problem moving across uneven terrain. A real workhorse darg! Jack the beek Houston, TX 2017-11-10
Retraction of negative review and thank you to Customer Serv 5 I bought a cart. I gave the cart one star. The bearings were faulty. Now that I think of the situation I sincerely doubt that Gardener's was directly responsible and their customer service sent me new wheels and apologized for an inconvenience. So, I'm giving Customer Service five stars for helping me resolve the the issue. Now, back to hauling compost. I'm sorry about the negative review in general although the product was faulty. Now all is well. Stephen Morrisville, Vermont 2017-10-24
Wheel bearings and race gave out within two years - cheap. 1 I've owned two. The first I purchased after I sold my old Saab for the purchase price about fifteen years ago. It was so good and so strong but the plywood rotted and this was the only reason I purchased my second large Gardenway cart. Fortunately I kept the wheels, axle and some fittings. My second and last Gardenway cart failed within two years. Both wheel bearing races actually fell out. Now, look, I'm 68 and used this cart way less than my first and still it failed. I'm now in the process of putting the old axle and wheels on the new cart. I'm angry about the quality of this new cart every day. I'm not asking for anything as I'm very bad at keeping receipts and such. I purchased the most expensive one btw, online. Stephen in Morrisville Morrisville, Vermont 2017-10-05
Pre-Drilled Holes Not Matched Up Well For Assembly 4 A lot of the pre-drilled holes (wood) did not line up with the corresponding holes in the metal framework. Most were when fitting the side panels to the bottom panel. The fix was shaving 1/8 to 1/4 inch off the bottom of both side panels. Even then, the height was ok with the holes, but some left-to-right line-ups were a little off. A little wood removal (widening) was necessary for those. Wondering if my cart parts were done on Monday morning or Friday afternoon ? One axle end needed a little filing to install the wheel. Minor issue. Customer service was excellent in providing three replacement panels and hardware bag, when I described the problem over the phone. The quality of all the materials was first rate. The placement of the pre-drilled holes in the wood was not. The instructions are ok, but are a little difficult to follow here and there. I read both the on-line and the paper supplied. I suggest you get a true Virgo to review and re-write. Overall it is a high quality cart. Once I use it a while, I will post an update based on my usage. update 8/2017..... I have had a problem with one tire losing air. I repaired the hole in the side of the tube, but the tube looked defective in other places also. Tube could be better quality. Did not hold air after the repair. A call to customer service resolved this issue. Grandpa B Mountain Top, Pa 2017-09-12
Had for over 30 years! 5 I have used this cart that we bought in Troy,NY from original maker for over 30 years , and it is still going great. Had to paint the inside wood a few years ago as it was beginning to show signs of wear and tear, but is good as new again! IF I am still gardening when I need a replacement, I will definitely get a new one of these! CT Gracie CT 2017-09-03
