Jersey Supreme is popular with gardeners because it produces an abundance of succulent spears 10 pounds or more each year once established. It’s easy to grow, disease-resistant, and tolerates most soils. One-year-old crowns produce a crop the second year. Order early for delivery at the proper time for planting in your growing area. Complete planting instructions included. 25 crowns; will fill a 25-foot row. Hardy in zones 2-9. (Not sure of your zone? Our Zone Finder can help!)

Comments about : Jersey Supreme Asparagus, 25 Crowns:
Plants established quickly and are growing well! If I had more room, I'd order more. Definately a good value.

About Me Avid Gardener
Planted these among four different beds, all of them took root and within days were anywhere from 8 inches to two feet tall. Very healthy stock!
Up in a week
Crowns looked good and were up a week after planting. Four stars due to shipping process from their vendor. My other asparagus was in the ground six weeks prior to their vendor shipping my order due to our region frost dates. In the end it really doesn't matter on planting date since I won't have a crop until next year.
impressed so far

We have some asparagus in the garden already and decided we wanted to expand our crop. We planted these at the end of the season and didn't expect to see them until next spring, but they popped up quickly! They are not thick enough to harvest but it was nice to see them to be sure they took and are healthy. Can't wait for next spring! The only down side is that we didn't have the space to plant them all.

Smart purchase. Good quality stock

Planted these and they were up in a week or two. Most are thriving. Only one crown did not survive. Pretty good odds, I'd say.

Very healthy asparagus roots. Great instructions - complete and easy to follow. Looking forward to a great harvest next spring.

We are expanding our "edible landscape" and the Asparagus are an important food crop as well as adding beauty (and will hide the fence).

About Me Getting Started
Planted the crowns in a raised bed. Covered with sun cloth for the first week. They began putting out shoots within a week of planting. Put some in from a different vendor last year and none survived. These are incredible. Very healthy and good quality.
Excellent quality asparagas crowns

I had purchased some crowns from a local store, but they were small and did not produce much vegetation. These crowns, by contrast, are producing like crazy and will be in great shape for next year's mini harvest.
