The insulation in the bins of this compost tumbler ensures that the composting material inside reaches higher temperatures than it would in an uninsulated bin — up to 160 degrees F.! This higher temperature results in faster, more efficient and more thorough composting. It also allows you to compost a wider range of materials, including those not recommended for most composters, including citrus fruit with rinds, avocado pits, meat, and fish and poultry with bones — as well as vegetable scraps and yard waste. The composter is easy to turn, and the dual chambers allow continuous composting — add scraps to one side while the other side "cooks." The Jora Composter is made with high-quality galvanized steel, with tight-fitting latches that exclude rodents and other pests.

Comments about : Joraform Composter 125:
I received this composter for Christmas and my first batch of compost is nearly ready and I've started on my second batch. It took my husband and I about 1 1/2 hours to assemble. The quality of the materials is top notch and the 125 is the perfect size for our small yard. The price is high compared to plastic tumblers but the Joraform galvanized steel composters are in a category all their own. We're very happy about making the long term investment in a tumbler that should last us for many years. It doesn't come with a compost thermometer so we purchased one. Last night, the outside temperature was 40 degrees and the composter chamber temperatures were 110 and 115 and steamy.

Work better than we expected. Even when kept in shaded area steam rises from door when opened.

Wish it had a strap of some sort to hold the unit with the opening up on top when one is beginning a batch. Until it got some weight in it, it kept rolling due to weight of the door so that what I put in kept falling out.

Very sturdy. Looks like it will last a long time. I've had it about a month now and both sides are composting. Looking back, I would have gone with the Joraform again but one size up.
