  • Seed starting success starts here!
  • Self-watering; prevents over- and under-watering
  • Dishwasher-safe so it's easy to clean between uses
  • Made from heavy-duty, recycled plastic

You’ll be amazed at how fast and healthy your seedlings grow. We’ve solved the challenges of over- or under-watering with the no-fail self-watering feature. Simply fill the reservoir and plants get the water they need, when they need it. That’s worry-free watering! Forget flimsy, single-use look-alike seed starting kits; our heavy-duty system is reusable, again and again. It includes an extra-sturdy leak-proof reservoir, platform and planting cell tray that are all dishwasher-safe, making them easy to clean and sterilize between uses. And the capillary mat, which delivers moisture as seedlings need it, can be used over and over; simply hand wash between uses. A clear germination cover maintains proper humidity while the seeds are germinating. The support platform that holds the planting cells doubles as a seedling ejector. All at an unbeatable price! We recommend using our Organic Seed Starting Mix, sold separately.

Comments about : GrowEase Seed Starter Kit, 12 Cells:

I bought a bunch of these. I start about 500 seedlings per year and these work really well. They are a much better design and improvement over the older APS design.

After several attempts at starting my own seeds, I "jumped in" and got what I really needed. The self watering seed trays are wonderful. I can not get them get too wet or too dry. I am so excited to have lots of wonderful plants for my pollinator garden!

I learned about these GrowEase Seed Starting kits through watching Laura with Garden Answer on you tube.
The feature of the water wicking up to the base of the plants is awesome. Just check every few days.

Soil dropped through the holes in the bottom so there'll be cleanup later. Testing old seeds now and they're growing nicely.

      Can't remove plants without damage.

      By Catlady gardener

Comments about : GrowEase Seed Starter Kit, 12 Cells:

I just started pepper seeds and was deciding which containers I want to use. I have the GrowEase which I bought because I was traveling, and I have the old domed, lidded trays with styrofoam. I went with the old styrofoam because they were always successful.
I really wanted to love the GrowEase, it's made of really nice plastic and the wicking mat is reusable. But, I couldn't remove the plants without damaging them. I had to use a knife around the edge and the a spoon to scoop the plant out. Perhaps having a separate piece that sits on the bottom of the hole that you can push up with your fingers.
I can't bring myself to throw it out though because it is sturdy and yet I don't feel right giving it away so someone else can experience the same problem.
