Fresh herbs brighten and enliven so many dishes, but they can be difficult to store. Place basil, cilantro or parsley sprigs in a bag or plastic container and they'll soon turn into a wilted or slimy mess. This innovative storage vessel keeps herbs fresh, so they retain their color and flavor. By allowing the cut ends to sit in water, it prevents wilting and keeps foliage hydrated and ready for use. To use, simply place fresh herb stems into the inner glass basket. Add a little water to the glass cylinder, and slits in the basket allow the cut ends of the herbs to remain in water. Lift the basket for easy access to the herbs.

Comments about : Glass Herb Keeper:
The Herb Keeper works wonderfully to keep parsley, cilantro, etc fresh for days... Loved it so much that it was my culinary gift of the year to my two step-daughters inlaws.

Kept basil fresh for days.
So easy to use.
Not great for most herbs
from Central MA
I would not buy this again as it does not keep herbs well. I have had better lick with a water glass. Also the interior cylinder is very hard to lift.

Will use it to keep herbs fresh and handy. Fresh tastes so much better than dried. And when you want to use the herbs, very easy to take them out, so will use it more.

I luv this because it fits well in fridge and is dishwasher safe but I will not know if successful as herb keeper as my herbs are not ready to harvest yet.

Great product! Simply put 1 cup water in bottom of container, wash herbs and shake a little to loosen, then stuff herbs into glass stems down. It keeps herbs fresh longer than a plastic bag and it's easy access. PLUS I love that it's glass not plastic. Practically a rare find these days!
