Growing taller tomatoes? Even determinate varieties can use a little extra support. Sturdy Snap-Lock Rings provide support wherever and whenever it's needed — and you can open and reattach the rings anywhere on the spines to gather up wayward branches.

classic tomato extension
from Grand Rapids, Michigan
Comments about Gardener's Revolution Classic Tomato Extension Gardener’s Revolution® Classic Tomato Extension:
The extension adds several feet of growing space to the classic tomato planter. The problem is, and was a problem with the original tomato supports, they are difficult to apply. It takes two people to install the supports. We had several of the locking clips break as we tried to clip them on. So the idea of the revolution tomato planter and support is great. The practicality of putting it all together is lacking. Once we got it all put together, it seems to be good. Gardeners Supply sent more locking clips so we could put it all together. In its present form, I wouldn't recommend this planter. If it can be fine-tuned, I would recommend it.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Convenient way to support indeterminate tomato plants.

Easy to use; able to mix a tall (indeterminate) with a shorter tomato plant in the same container. First time in years we are growing tomatoes again.

Product went together easily with the use of a small screw driver to align parts.

These changed how I garden
By Lara T.
from Maplewood, NJ
These are so much better than those rusty old tomato cages in my square foot container garden. They are flexible and can be adjusted as the tomatoes grow, and don't scratch my hands when I'm reaching in to get tomatoes!
from Mundelein, Il
My tomatoes grow pretty tall, so this was a must for me.
Definitely would buy again

I like having this as a spare if my tomato support fence needs repairs.
Great for indeterminate tomatoes
from Albuquerque, NM
Some tomato plants are the bushy kind and don't grow endlessly all summer long. But indeterminate plants seem to never stop reaching for the clouds. I believe that I shouldn't have any problem keeping those very tall ones protected from falling over with this system.
I would buy this again
I trust that this will give me my plants added support this season.
