Nearly perfect

Comments about : Featherweight Coil Hose, 75':

This is a nearly perfect solution for my sife's garden hose needs --long enough (almost) and light enough. To get the length she needs, I connected two of them together. And that brings up it one weakness. The non-coiling lead ends are too long to make a neatly coiled hose when two are connected together --and, actually becomes a bit difficult to handle.

I saw this hose at a house tour in Burlington a few years ago. After buying hose after hose and struggling with them (they all kink) because we need to reach at least 100 feet, I bought a couple for our large backyard. I love how far it stretches! I don't know why it took me so long (probably because I had invested in so many hoses!) but I finally got a couple more for the front of the house. We have a large front porch and it stretches all around. Everyone is happier with the coil hose and no more frustration with kinks and trying to round up the heavy hose! These are the best hoses I've ever used and so easy to put away. They look great too.

So much neater than a regular hose sprawled on the ground or patio when not in use.

      Definitely five star

Comments about : Featherweight Coil Hose, 75':

was so delighted with the way the 50' coil hose behaved and looked in my backyard that I immediately bought another, longer one for my front yard. I love the way it coils out of sight . I also love the moss green color which blends so naturally with vegetation in the yard. What a difference from my former unsightly bright green hose which ruined the effect of my small garden.

Everything is great about this hose......lightweight is good. The other one I bought several yrs ago was too short (my mistake) for my needs, so gave to my daughter. Tried other kinds of hoses but they didn't hold up. Came back to Gardener's Supply for better quality.

      Think "Slinky"!

      By Sue T

      from NH

Comments about : Featherweight Coil Hose, 75':

The hose is durable and lightweight, but it recoils like a Slinky and is consistently getting tangled. For that reason, I find myself avoiding using it and reverting back to old, heavy rubber hoses.

      Works well

Comments about : Featherweight Coil Hose, 75':

Works well, though remember to drape over your arm a bit, so you don't put too much strain on the hose as you are moving about-more important with the longer hose.
