Streamlined 2' x 8' planter box fits anywhere, so you can create a convenient kitchen garden or a stunning flower display. Waist-high for easy planting, tending and harvesting, it's big enough for tomatoes and deep enough for carrots. Like our other made-in-Vermont cedar planters, the sides are held in place with our lifetime aluminum corners.
The 8' Space-Maker Pivoting Trellis consists of two panels that you can adjust independently. In the vertical position, the trellis supports large plants like tomatoes. Pivot one or both panels out 45 degrees to support peas and cucumbers, extending your growing space without increasing the planter’s footprint. Also ideal for pole beans, small-fruited squash and flowering vines. The pivoting connectors fit securely into the corners of the planter box to create a fully integrated support system.

Hours of my life I will never get back
By Nicky Smith

I am extremely disappointed with this product. I am a long term customer with usually a good ability to be handy and put items together. The first attempt at constructing the beds - I had a quality control issue with a metal plate which had inaccurately drilled hole which didn't match up. After speaking with customer service who offered no apology, I received a replacement bar in the mail. The screws are horrible quality and strip out when used with the necessary electric screwdriver. The instruction manual sucks and the diagrams don't match reality. This is extremely frustrating. The holes in the metal parts are too narrow and apparently need to be drilled out - manual doesn't make this clear. Three scuffed knuckles later I gave up and decided to air my frustrations. Quite frankly - this product needs to be reworked - the instruction manual needs particularly attention and please provide better quality hardware. I was fed up with trying to remove stripped screws. Talk about bad quality and cutting corners. I have 2 of these nightmares and I am bitterly disappointed with the product. Gardeners do better.

It is Big
from Kansas City area
I am elderly and find it hard to get down steps, so it is nice to Garden on my deck. It sets up where it does not damage my new deck. We put extra support under middle of planter.
I have dogs so I needed a tall big above ground planter to hold spices and vegetables. This is perfect because it has 2 additions that I can use for tomatoes and cucumbers which i'm going to try for the first time.
Great planter for patio! Sturdy, easy to reach and use.

About Me Getting Started
Love it. Beautiful, sturdy, wonderful cedar scent, and exactly what I was hoping for. I bought a second one just a couple weeks later since I loved the first one so much. I have received many compliments about it. Highly recommend this planter!
