At 29" high, this attractive cedar planter is the perfect height for easy growing, eliminating the need to stoop, bend, kneel and reach. It's a generous 9-1/4" deep so you can grow big plants like tomatoes and root crops like carrots. With 16 square feet of growing space, there's plenty of room for multiple crops, yielding a generous harvest. Set up one or more of these beds on your patio to create a convenient kitchen garden, or fill them with flowers for a stunning display. Like our other cedar raised beds, the sides of this standing garden are held in place with our sleek and sturdy lifetime aluminum corners. There's a false floor made of cedar slats set 9-1/4" down from the top so there's plenty of root space for vegetables and flowers. Excess water drains through slats; vents in the sides allow air to circulate and excess moisture to evaporate.

Comments about : Elevated Cedar Planter Box, 4' x 4':
This planter box is great. I bought several for a new school garden. It was so easy to assemble, my middle school students were able to do it with just screwdrivers. It looks great and seems very durable! I plan on buying a few more. I highly recommend.

About Me Avid Gardener
After months of research into elevated beds, we decided to purchase this one. It fits perfectly in our space and I was able to assemble it by myself in about 20 minutes. It's very lightweight and held just under a half yard of soil - .44 yards, as advertised, seems about right. We're in California and every single day someone is stopping by to ask where we got it. Doubled-up cedar planks for the bottom of the bed with the (included) landscape fabric on top seem to be doing a great job lining the bed - it drains easily but no soil falls through. The rail design for the sides is brilliant and allows for easy assembly. Each piece of wood is cut and finished to spec, making a very handsome, sturdy, yet light bed.

Easy to assemble. Height is perfect-especially for us aging gardeners. This year I'm growing cantaloupe and mini watermelon out onto the 4 ft trellises. I put a trellis on each side.

I just bought it, too early to tell if it's good or not

I just bought the unit, it's too early to expect me to give a real review. It looks good, seems like it will do the job well, but ask me in a year and I can answer your questions better.
Perfect way to fit a lot of plants on a patio.

About Me Getting Started
This item takes up about a third of my balcony, but its a wonderful way for me to get a lot of plants in a small area and still look neat.
Purchased 3 units in different sizes and am very happy with the quality, construction, design, and height. They are beautiful in my garden and work for all types of veggies and flowers. No bending needed- weeding is a breeze! I will be purchasing more of these!
so far so good

I have not put this one together as I need another person to help with this one due to its size. I have checked to make sure it is all there and everything seems sturdy and attractive.
High qulaity planter
Overall great quality unit. Some of the metal supports were very tight during assembly, rubber malet to the rescue. I would recommend this unit.
