Bring your garden up to a whole new level! Our 2' x 4' elevated bed is easy to plant, tend and harvest without kneeling or bending. Plus, it offers creative landscaping opportunities. Set up one or more of these beds around the edge of your patio to add privacy or to create a garden "room." The sides are held in place with our sleek and sturdy aluminum corners. There's a false floor made of cedar slats, set 10" down from the top so there's plenty of root space for vegetables and flowers. Excess water drains through slats; vents in the sides allow air to circulate and excess moisture to evaporate.

Best Way to garden
By Grateful Gardener

Comments about : 2' x 4' Elevated Cedar Raised Bed:
I now own at least 6 of the 2' x8' cedar planters but now have a spot in my flower garden for for the smaller 2' x 4' planter. I love this way of gardening and no longer have to get on my knees to weed. I only wish I had known about this way of gardening years ago. I no longer have to worry about ugly weeds taking over my flower garden and we have solved multiple problems with flower beds too big to take care of with flagstone and these beautiful cedar planters.

I will be purchasing more of these
from Mountain House, CA
I purchased this for my mother and myself - as Mom is getting older, I really didn't want her to have to bend over too much or too far - this is a wonderful raised bed for the garden area - wonderful along side the 2x8 raised beds.
Well designed product at good price
from Needham Massachusetts
These planters are well made and they look great in front of our house after applying citrus oil. A couple of the corners came slightly bent out of shape but they were easily fixed with a pliers to get everything fit together.
Good quality, sturdy, and attractive.

This is a good quality, sturdy, and attractive piece, and was easy to assemble. I am very happy with our choice. We are using at an assisted living for residents to garden from, and are happy with our choice.

I love that I can vege garden again using this raised bed. It's well made, and I put it together very quickly. I'm using 2 and there is plenty of space for lots of my favorite veges. I appreciate that everything was thought through by Gardener's Supply, including the air circulation vents and the liner.
from Slingerlands NY
One difficulty was aligning the support rails but with care all worked. The unit is part of three: another 2x4 planter and a 2x4 bar planter and they are wonderful together on the edge of our patio.
I've now gotten four of these...
from Boston, MA
I have now purchased four of these wonderful elevated beds, in three different sizes. When I could no longer physically do the bending and kneeling involved in tending my longtime raised beds, I was heartbroken. Now the joy of vegetable gardening is returned to me, full force, by these beds. They are attractive, easy to assemble and my plants are flourishing. I love these elevated beds and when my older friends see them, they all express delight at the possibility of continued gardening. Yes, they are expensive, but Gardeners Supply products have always stood up to the test of time, so I feel confident they will last for a good long time.
Nice quality, beautiful wood
By PA Gardener

I ordered 2 raised beds. They arrived quickly and the sides were already partially assembled which made assembly fairly easy. The cedar is unfinished but looks really nice -- smooth, evenly colored, and smells good! Haven't planted anything in the beds yet but did fill each with 130-140 qts of potting soil/compost mix. Looking forward to having my herbs out of reach of the dog and rabbits!

We bought 2 of these for different areas in our yard. I plan on planting perennials and annuals for both sunny and shady areas.
Handsome elevated bed fits on patio
from Washington, DC
Raises bed so our dog can't dig up the flowers.Very sturdy, thanks to dozens of screws and metal framework ... which you must assemble. Most screws fit the holes, but a few holes in metal do not precisely line up and I had to find thinner screws than those provided. Tip: To save laborious manual screwdriver-twisting, predrill tiny holes in wood for the screws, and then use a screwdriver bit in your power drill to tighten the screws.
