Bypass pruners are best for making precision cuts on living wood. Ours have super-sharp blades that make clean cuts that heal quickly, helping minimize disease problems. Sized for smaller hands, the pruners are 7" long with a nonslip grip. A rubber shock absorber minimizes stress to hand and wrist, and a toothed center nut allows you to easily align the cutting edge. Includes a plastic holster for safely carrying and storing.

Great clippers for a good price

Comments about : Bypass Pruners:
These are comfortable to use for trimming, clipping, and harvesting. This was a gift for my daughter, but I have owned the same type of pruner for a year and a half. It has retained its cutting edge very well and the bright colored handles make it easy to find if I put them down while I'm working.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I would buy for people with small hands
By Gardening Gayle

My hands are not that large and the handles are almost too small for me. I wanted to get this for my adult son. I'm glad I read the description and onmy purchased for me.

Would give 5 stars if the spring didn't pop off so easily.

We are a wedding and event floral business. All the ladies love these pruners because they are sharp and are a great fit for their hands. The only problem is that the spring constantly pops off and eventually they are lost. Wish there was a way to make the spring more permanent or we could get replacement springs. I also use them at home in my garden and love them until the spring gets lost!
I think we have a winner
from Podunk, TN
Note: I have to be delirious to grade anything 5 stars or furious to grade it 1.I've used these for about 3 months of heavy gardening and am very pleased. I appreciate the slide lock that can be used one-handed and that doesn't lock the shears unasked. Handles don't open too wide, good for smaller hands, and narrow closed handle position makes it easy to slip into a pocket.

I bought this pruner about a year ago..I thought the color would be great in the garden and not get lost easily...unfortunately the gizmo that moves the pruner came loose and I lost it in the process of my yard work. So unfortunately I have a sharp blade with no continued ability of use...sadly, I would not recommend this specific pruner.

Very nice for pruning my roses.
Sharp Pruners, but Almost Useless when Spring Comes Off
from Brookings, OR
At first, I was pleased with my new Bypass Pruners from Gardener's Supply. They were sharp, effective, and comfortable to use. But, not long after I had them, while gardening, I looked down and discovered that the metal spring was gone. I searched for the lost spring, but couldn't find it. While still sharp, the pruners are very inconvenient to use without the spring. After calling and emailing Gardener's Supply, I was pleased that they sent a replacement pair. Now I could again use my quality pruners again. However, just a few weeks later my husband was using the new pruners, and the spring came off while he was trimming bushes. Luckily, he was able to locate the spring and re-attach it. But, how much longer before the spring comes off again??
from Southern California
If the tension spring would just stay on this could be a five star product. I have two pair of these bypass pruners and both have the same problem where the spring pops off and I am continually looking for it.
Great easy use
