Seed-filled sconce is handmade in America's heartland from pearl millet, corn and other natural materials, many of them grown locally to ensure freshness. These seeds and stalks are artfully arranged in a moss-lined wire basket, ready to hang on a fence post, gate or door where birds can enjoy a nutritious treat.

Lovely, but smaller than expected.
from Albuquerque, NM
Very pretty, and the person I bought it for loved it. Drawbacks are the size (quite a bit smaller than it appears in the photograph), and the fact that the seed sprays selected for the arrangement are not ones that are especially appealing to birds. But at least it lasts longer this way!
I would buy this product again!!!

I gave this as a Christmas present. When it arrived they "loved it...immediately hung it on their fence"! Enjoyed watching the birds feed from it. However, several days later it was "missing"!!! They think a raccoon took it...as they have seen raccoons in their yard as well as a fox also!!!
GREAT XMAS PRESENT FOR FEATHERED FRIENDS

Birds seem to like this
I was too late in ordering last year and so glad to see it back again this year and ordered it right away. I am using it for interior decoration because it's so pretty. I may share it with the birds later on, but right now it's the focal point of my downstairs, visible from many vantage points.

Looks just like the picture
The birds preferred hulled sunflower seeds at a nearby feeder and had to be bribed with suet to visit the arrangement. The deer also visit the feeder with hulled sunflower seeds but leave the arrangement alone. A few chickadees and nuthatches visit the arrangement. More decorative than anything else.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I like its looks & composition. More expensive than I usually buy.

This is a lovely, sturdy, well-made product, and I hope the birds enjoy it! It's a little smaller than I anticipated, but I didn't really pay attention to the dimensions when I placed my order. I would order this again.

Bought this as a gift and the recipients, real nature lovers, said it was beautiful.
