I started with the clean bird bath as stated and was disappointed in the cloudy, algae infested bath. I should have dated it, but approximately a week.
No more algae!

We had an issue with algae build up in our fountain. Following a thorough cleaning we added 1 of these to the waterNo algae after 5 weeks and next week will be the time to replace the piece.This product works great!

Our birdbath gets a lot of use and therefore a lot of bird refuse. This product reduces the frequency of cleaning, but does not eliminate it.
