These fruit fly traps do not work and are a waste of money. The container is nice but it doesn't do too much good if the product it is to hold doesn't.

Comments about Soapstone Box with Two Fruit Fly Traps:

The Soapstone box is beautifully made and looks like it might contain potpourri, rather than the anonymous insect trap! This is my second one because I keep a lot of fruit all the time in more than one place in my home. The trap attracts with no problem in an adequate space but with fruit in other rooms I have found two is more efficient. Hint: Place the trap in the holder before pushing the holes open with the little stick to insure not spilling the contents. Super easy to do! This is a very good product!

Comments about Soapstone Box with Two Fruit Fly Traps:

I can once again enjoy room temperature, ripe fruit. It even attracted fruit flies from the room where my computer lives, so I'm not flapping and smacking myself in the head when I'm working late into the night and the computer screen is the brightest light in the room.

The soapsone box is solidly and attractively made and looks at home on my stone counter.

Comments about Soapstone Box with Two Fruit Fly Traps:

We always have fresh fruits in the house, and we also compost. Fruit flies in the house is a big problem for us.

At first, we tried home made solutions such as sugar and apple vinegar traps. It works and we see a lot of flies trapped in there, but it only helps a little. We would still see flies everywhere. When that wasn't enough, we tried store bought fly traps. Some help in the beginning but lose their effectiveness quickly.

Now comes this fruit fly traps. I put one in the corner of my kitchen and have not seen one fruit fly since. We were so amazed at how effective it is. It is not a coincidence because their population usually increases for us this time of year when all of our windows and doors are closed.

We also love the soapstone box. The details on it is exquisite. No one would suspect that it is a fruit fly trap, unlike the other store bought traps we got previously. It is a life saver for us, and we definitely will be buying more refills for our beautiful soapstone box.

I have a fruit fly trap in the kitchen and at first thought it was not working as I did not detect any smell but I gave it acouple of days and notice that the flies were disapearing,a week they were gone. I then covered the trap top with plastic wrape and see if it will work again. I will put the second one in my sun room where I have a problem with nats in my potted plants I'll let you know.
