Watch: Landscape Snip-n-Drip Soaker System

Protect your landscape investments! With our Landscape Snip-n-Drip Soaker System you can apply water just where you want it — and not where you don't. No special tools required — just use scissors to cut the hoses to the sizes you need. Snap the fittings in place and you're ready to water. The weeping action of soaker hoses delivers water right to the roots, with minimal loss due to evaporation and runoff. Soaker hoses use up to 80% less water than sprinklers! We recommend our Earth Staples, sold separately, to hold soaker hoses in place.

Comments about : Landscape Snip-n-Drip Soaker System:

We have 48 trees just planted. Tried the soaker hoses at a local supply store, took them back after setting up as the drip was inconsistent. Got online and found this system. so glad I did it was easy to set up and works perfect. Highly recommend, the quality was great and the plants are now evenly irrigated.

Comments about : Landscape Snip-n-Drip Soaker System:

It does what it is supposed to. It doesn't take long to put it together. The hardest part was coupling it to my existing hose. It didn't work with the part that came with the system. Fortunately, I had a piece from another sprinkler system that fit. Overall, I like that the plants in the flower bed will now get consistent water easily. I still have to get used to the aesthetic which I don't find that appealing.

    Snip-n-Drip great for targeted watering

Comments about : Landscape Snip-n-Drip Soaker System:

I set this system up around a series of new pine trees planted on my property. The soaker line is perfect for targeting only around the roots. Overall I'm pleased with the system but a few of the connections leak and have disconnected which causes some flooding. Periodically check that the end of the line is getting water as a means to ensure everything has remained connected.

Comments about : Landscape Snip-n-Drip Soaker System:

I recently put in about 50 new plants in my garden and keeping up with the watering was a challenge, especially with summer coming up. I looked into soaker hoses, and the Snip-and-Drip appealed the most because I didn't have to water "in between" plants. It was actually a lot of fun setting up my system, and I had to in the end order some extras. I actually bought a 4 way splitter too for my tap, so I can run several different zones while I was at it. Occasionally, a hose does come loose at the joins, so it does require a bit of monitoring especially when you first run it. I've buried some under mulch (very tidy) and left some uncovered (doesn't look too bad).

Comments about : Landscape Snip-n-Drip Soaker System:

We added this soaker system to the front flower garden last spring. It worked so well, hidden beneath the soil, keeping the water on the roots rather than the leaves. It saved me time watering every evening, used less water, and kept my plants looking the best that I can remember. We are expanding it to the shrubs and lower garden this year since it was such a success.

My only advice is to mark where you've placed the soaker hose as a shovel goes right through it (I learned the hard way). It's can be repaired, though. I'm planning to use golf tees to mark where it meanders so I'm sure to avoid doing this again, plus only using a hand shovel.

Comments about : Landscape Snip-n-Drip Soaker System:

I have been using the snip-n-drip soaker system for several years. Living in Arizona, I need to water deeply . This system allows me to water in places where it is too difficult to set up an automatic system. I just lay out the green hose to the area that needs water, arrange the soaker hose around the plant and turn it on when necessary. I especially like the easy-to-secure- faucet attachments. I have several systems going to different areas. I can attach the hose for one area. When that is sufficiently watered, I simply pull off that attachment and secure the next one. No repositioning of hoses. I use it in both my front and back yards. I LOVE it.
