Nice ceramic pot with carbon filter in the lid. Works great keeping the smell of garbage out of the kitchen. I also purchased the 5-gal green bucket with the sealed lid to collect compost items in the garage until ready for the compost barrel.

I have been wanting one for a while, and just last saturday, my birthday, my mother in law got me one in white. I love it, it looks great on my counter top, it is the right size and I cannot smell a thing.

              Our Compost "Kit.:

We've long wanted to take advantage of the kitchen waste suitable for composting. The Crock Pot, The bags, the Filters and the thermometer gave us a "Kit" providing all that we need. Now, not only can we feel good about going "Green", we'll have the best food imaginable for our garden.
              Thanks,
              Jim

The lid on the counter-top compost collection jar did not fit. Not a good scene for compost collecting.

bio bags fit this crock well. each time we moved crock to wash or empty, we ended up with another chip. Ours was red, and the white ceramic underneath peeked out after every chip.
