Pros
- Ok Frames
Cons
- Animals Can Easily Chew
Best Uses
- Paper weight
I got this to protect my strawberries from either squirrels or rabbits. It did not. As soon as the strawberries were ripe they chewed right through this netting. This was no barrier at all.
- Was this a gift?:
- No
Pros
- Easy to assemble
Cons
Best Uses
I have used many products to try to keep rabbits out of my garden with very little success. I bought this product and installed it they haven't got in since. It was very easy to assemble and install. I only wish the website was a little more clear in that the 4 by 8 and the 4 by 4 are totally different products. The 4 by 4 has green poles with a heavier net and the 4 by 8 has silver poles with a thinner net. If you want all the same look to install on your raised beds don't mix and match the 4 by 4 and 4 by 8 otherwise the product works great.
Pros
- Fits Well
Cons
- Rabbits ate thru netting
Best Uses
Did not think the irections were clear with netting.
Rabbits have chewed a whole thru it making it useless before season harvest is ready
I have to say that this product does the job. What is a bit misleading is the product fits a specific type of 4x8 garden. The pictures show the side poles are lodged in the corners of the raised bed garden. If you have a different design raised bed than the one showed it can be a task to set up and will need to be adjusted. Mine had to fit on the outside of the raised bed. We got it set up. I was a bit worried that the Rabbits would chew the nylon although haven't seen any holes yet and we have plenty of rabbits around here. All in all it has kept the critters away. I am happy with my purchase and yes another great product from Gardeners supply Co..
Pros
- Attractive
- Functional
Cons
- Not rabbit proof
Best Uses
I bought two 4'x4' small animal barriers to block off 1 section each of my two 4'x8' raised beds. This made installation slightly more complicated which I expected but still pretty easy to install. The problem is that with my particular installation the rabbits can jump up onto the unprotected half of each bed, sit next to the neyting and chew through it. I think if you get this unit you need to get it for the size bed that you have. This way, the rabbits can't as easily get in. They would have to make a hole at the height of the bed and then jump through that hole to get into the bed. So overall, this is a pretty good unit but I do think the netting should be more resistant.
I had to adjust mine to fit my 4x8 raised bed. We have a bad rabbit population here. They are eating all the neighbors beans. I installed mine and have not had a problem. I was a bit worried that they would chew through the string although that hasn't happened yet. I would recommend. I would also recomment when setting this up pull the string tight so you can have enought to go around the frame.
Pros
- Good design
- Good size
Cons
- Flimsy Materials
- Poorly put together
Best Uses
- Keeps deer and turkeys ou
I put a net on top to keep out pesky deer and turkeys. The size is perfect but it was a pain to assemble and is not very sturdy.

Best Uses
- Keeping cats out
Seems sturdy enough, quality material. So far, so good in terms of keeping cats out of raised beds. Only had it a few days, however. It also worked well to hold up weather protectors as
Drawbacks: Instructions are a bit confusing.
Pros
- Looks good
Cons
- Not as easy to assemble
Best Uses
Far cry from chicken wire. we had to adjust to fit our garden size but now it's installed and looks great. Instructions were a little confusing but to do it again will be much easier.
For the not-mechanically inclined the assembly instructions are not very clear. Still haven't figured out the "gate" or the purpose of the velcro strips. On-line video would be very helpful. Once I finally figured the rest of it out, I do like it. Not too high-I can still reach the center of the raised bed. Very attractive and so far keeps the critters out. Not sure about the disassembly for winter.
