I was amazed at how much water we collected in the first rainstorm - over 65 gallons! Perfect for watering outside containers and filling up the birdbaths!

Comments about Rainwater Urn, 65 Gallon:
This rain barrel is very attractive and blends well with landscaping. It has been very useful during this hot and dry summer, a life saver for our flowers! We did not have to use our well water for flower bed watering, which was a plus! Great investment.

Comments about Rainwater Urn, 65 Gallon:
This is a quite atractive rain water barrel. The terracotta look fits into a lot of decors and the design works. The only slight complaint is that here in the east I'd prefer something a bit bigger.

I bought one of these for my husband for a gift.Within a week of using, the spigot broke. [...] SECOND one sent leaked at seams. SOO SOOOOO DISSAPPOINTED.[...] product has quality issues.

Comments about Rainwater Urn, 65 Gallon:
The hose works very well and does not leak or drip, with easy to use valve. Planter at the top is a nice feature, and we like the graceful lines. The material it's made from is strong and looks like terra cotta (a little deeper color than the photo). The plants like the rainwater from the urn!

Comments about Rainwater Urn, 65 Gallon:
It holds enough water to satisfy all my houseplants that spend the summer outside on the porch. The entire village is envious of my beautiful rain barrels. The neighbors stop to talk now rather than hurrying by on their errands.
The most difficult thing was to find a runoff hose and where to place it.

Comments about Rainwater Urn, 65 Gallon:
We also bought, a year later, the rain diverter. I had to re-paint the diverter white to match the gutters as it came green. Since I have to store the rain barrel in the winter I did not want my gutter just cut off and winter rains flooding next to the house. So, it stood there for a year just looking like a piece of cool garden art.
I believe the diverter will remain and I will be able to allow the rain to continue out the gutter that runs away from the house foundation.
At present the rain barrel still fills up fast even though it's large. It then proceeds to leak out the back relief hole where the diverter hose connects and runs down along the foundation which I don't want.
So, I have to empty the barrel sometimes sooner than I would like even when the surounding plants don't need water.
Also, when the rain diverter is used it bypasses the filter screen and therefore a lot of roof debris collects in the bottom of the barrel...try cleaning that! I look like Winnie the Pooh stuck in the honey jar! But because it is light weight I can tip it over with ease.
I still like its good looks and have been given many compliments as it sits at the front of my home for all to see!
I hope these comments help GS require a better design from their vendor.
