This product was supposed to prevent growth of algae. We cleaned the ponds, which are very small, and put the ball in. The algae grew, so ponds became green, just the way they did without the ball.

I waited weeks to see some results with it clearing out the Algae, but after 3 weeks I just had more Algae. I tried cleaning out what I could by hand hoping it would start working, but when it became so bad I couldn't see my fish I had to go back to using chemicals. I feel I just threw [$] away. I may still try to send it back.

I have been using these balls for a few years. I have a big, natural pond and a smaller man-made pond. Both ponds stay clear and clean when using these balls. I love that they are now bio-degradable! I don't know how I could possibly clean my ponds without them.
